Any listeners in the Windy City? What's a good quick reference to Chicago's neighbourhoods?
I'm currently running a game of #UrbanShadows  set in Chicago. The provided map is great, but I don't know what the various regions are like. Where do the rich people live? Where can I reasonably place gangland? Which neighbourhoods are in decline, and which are gentrifying? I started going through the neighbourhood descriptions on Wikipedia, but that's more time-intensive prep than I would prefer for this game.

So does anyone know where I can find a quick overview of Chicago's various regions? Chicagoans +Kenneth Hite and +The Jank Cast perhaps?

A thought-provoking article by +John Wick that makes a bold claim: that in a roleplaying game, game balance is not important.

What do you think?
