The venue is alright, in need of serious updating. The kitchenette is small and unkempt-- the woman named Ruby who was working in there totally lit up a Capri and smoked it behind a little pop-out door. Unprofessional and unsanitary. Fix that sh*t. Oh and very overpriced for frozen food--- small portions of frozen food.

Checked it out because of G&R. Saw an awesome bad! Mostly standing room only, some spots around the bar. Drinks were priced right. We were hungry, relieved that they offered food options, very reasonably priced. Staff was nice, even though busy. Bathroom, was small and messy, typical for a busy bar. Great sound, great atmosphere, it wasn't too packed. Might not be as fun if it is packed. We really liked the lounge out front, the AC was great and it was a nice spot to sit and chill, when needed a break from the crowd. Could still see the band through the awesome window. Loved the memorabilia on the wall. You could just hang out in the lounge if you are tourist, and just want to pop in and avoid the cover. We took the bus here, stop is right out front.

Nevermind that this is the venue where Guns n Roses started their reign or that one of the bartenders has a portrait of a young Waylon Jennings on her arm. Nevermind that the drinks are reasonably priced, the food is simple but tasty, and that you can catch an americana act on one night and some noise rock the next. Those things are all true and valid reasons to get to the Troubadour, but the real reason to go is that the sound in this little club is absolutely unmatched in all of Los Angeles. You don't agree, you say? Prove me wrong. :-) Parking in the area is fairly hidden, but abundant. Ticket prices average about $15, making this a great opportunity for discovering something new.

Amazing place to watch concerts. It's really small and tickets are usually cheap. You get to see all the cool artists before they get big.

When I go to concerts, I prefer smaller venues and the Troubadour offers that. Between the dance floor, the bar, and the small sitting area upstairs it can't fit more than a hundred. The only complaint is the bar and the kitchen can take an eternity to get the simplest things.

Dope la music venue with sooo much history! Been to so many shows here and never a bad spot/view. Drinks are cheap, bartenders and friendly and the sound is great out here. Catch all the upcoming bands before they get big here. Ive seen Rudimental, Icona Pop, and more here for 12$ a show before they went onto worldwide tours in wayyy bigger venues. Catch the next big thing here before anyone else does. Great staff and venue!

Really love the vibe and atmosphere of this venue. Every spot around the stage is a good spot to stand and watch your favorite artist perform. This is rare for most venues. I was lucky enough to grab the front bench upstairs for the Paolo Nutini concert that was hosted here few weeks prior. The sound system is pretty loud here, my ears were ringing a bit after leaving. I suggest bringing some of those concert earplugs that lower the decibels a bit to a comfortable listening level if sitting front and center upstairs.

Sweet music venue on Santa Monica. Best spot to catch the show is usually on the far side of the stage- sneak up the stairs and across the top and then back down! There is a second bar if you go up the stairs on the right of the stage as well.

Troubadour hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
