Tl;dr:  “People are frugal in guarding their personal property; but as soon as it comes to squandering time they are most wasteful of the one thing in which it is right to be stingy”.
In an experiment carried out by Sanford DeVoe and Julian House at the University of Toronto, two different groups of people were asked to listen to the same passage of music—the first 86 seconds of “The Flower Duet” from the opera “Lakmé”. Before the song, one group was asked to gauge their hourly wage. The participants who made this calculation ended up feeling less happy and more impatient while the music was playing. “They wanted to get to the end of the experiment to do something that was more profitable,” Mr DeVoe explains http://econ.st/1CvDpgG

Happy new year! To all of you who resolved to do (more) yoga this year, I highly recommend Adriene. Her channel has both short routines and longer ones, and you can do them anywhere. No excuses now :)

What a great writeup with very actionable small corrections that go a long way. "MOM” AS AN EXAMPLE OF A NON-TECHNICAL USER is the worst offender IMO :)

+Yaar Schnitman and I have been loving "The Honorable Woman". It's a thriller mini series about the Israeli Palestinian conflict, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal. It's beautifully shot, somewhat theatrical and lyrical, and extremely well done. The characters are deep and evoke thought. And timing with the recent war has made this show even more relevant.
