So, I wrote a thing. A pulp thing. A pulp novel thing. With dinosaurs and time travel and talking apes (both good and evil!) and Atlantis and -- well, all kinds of goodness.

It's set in the SPIRIT OF THE CENTURY world.

And it now has a Kickstarter.

If you don't want to pledge, I diggit -- but I will suggest you go and check out the crazy holy-crap book trailer for it. Evil Hat really knocked it out of the park on that.

With psychic dinosaurs taking over Manhattan and beyond, it's up to the Century Club to save humanity -- from extinction!

I am interested in the idea of a book trailer. I don't quite understand them, but I'm interested in them. What made you decide to do one?

Yeah, the book trailer aspect of this was sort of a bonus extra to getting the kickstarter video done. But once we knew we were making one as a component of the video, we had to make sure we were doing it right.

I know, I wish they didn't. My friend and I just got one approved and we went back and forth about the idea of a video before realizing we do not have that kind of skill. The trailer Evil Hat put up is very cool.

Thanks! And for the record, "we" don't have that kind of skill either -- we hired +Jeremy Keller to do the video work. That requires a budget for that sort of thing, of course, which, thankfully, we had.
