Fraser P. Seitel is a public relations consultant, author, teacher and commentator.
Introduction

Seitel is president of Emerald Partners, a communications management firm that he and associates founded in 1992. He is the author of The Practice of Public Relations,[1] now in its 12th  edition, the 1992 book IdeaWise: How to Transform Your Ideas,[1] which he co-authored with Steve Rivkin, and Rethinking Reputation in 2012, co-authored with John Doorley.

Seitel previously served as senior counselor at Burson-Marsteller, and prior to that, senior vice president and director of public affairs at The Chase Manhattan Bank.

            Seitel is a senior columnist on public relations for odwyerpr.com and O’Dwyer’s PR Services report. He is a founding editor of The Strategist, the monthly publication of the Public Relations Society of America, and an adjunct professor at New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies' graduate program in Public Relations and Corporate Communication.[4]

He makes frequent guest appearances on television, and appears regularly on Fox News Channel
