THRILLED! Box Art: A Gaming Documentary is fully funded and then some. So many stories here that haven't been told, and now we have a shot at changing that.

Honored to be on board as a Producer for what I believe will be a video game documentary unlike any other.

Thank you to everyone who supported this. Let's rock it.

Happy Birthday to the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles console game, first released in Japan on May 12, 1989.

I took to G4@Syfygames today to look back on it.

Game developers! Shop owners! Event promoters! You can get your game/shop/event featured in Box Art: A Gaming Documentary with one of the reward tiers in our Kickstarter campaign.

Only TWO of this reward tier remain. Rob's last gaming film, Nintendo Quest, is on Hulu, Amazon, Target, Best Buy and Barnes & Noble... so you know he can get distribution. That means a lot of potential exposure for your event, game or store if you get in here now.

Less than 10 days left!

Box Art is 73 percent funded with 11 days to go. Very doable, but we still need everyone's foot on the gas to make it go. The stories of the artists and these artifacts of gaming deserve to be told. Every dollar and every shout out helps.

Box Art got a contribution yesterday from Jerry Buckner, one half of the iconic Buckner & Garcia of Pac-Man Fever fame.

Certainly there are more of you out there who are cool enough to rock out with Jerry. Support Box Art: A Gaming Documentary here -

Watch Buckner & Garcia on Solid Gold in 1982 and stay tuned for something else related next week... :)

Some of the most awesome box art in video game history exists on the Star Wars games, both old and new. Help us tell the stories of how boxes like these were designed and the artists that did them by supporting Box Art: A Gaming Documentary on Kickstarter.

Even obscure titles had killer box art. Help us tell the backstories of game art like this and the people involved. Box Art: A Gaming Documentary has only 8 days left on Kickstarter and every bit helps.

When I first started gaming, my main arcade had Asteroids Deluxe rather than Asteroids. I became familiar with it before I ever played the original. I found the story behind it fascinating - perhaps more than some - when I read up on it years later.

So my latest G4@Syfygames history lesson touches on it. Enjoy :)
