Two Hour Trail Ride for Two: Scheduling the ride was a total nightmare. The number that is posted is a cell phone number for a woman named Cheryl (I think that's her name). She was a nightmare to deal with. I had to call her multiple times to schedule the ride. After each phone call, she would ask me to send her a text detailing what day I wanted to come ride and what time. I don't know why she asked me to do that because she never responded to them and never actually scheduled me for the day I asked for. It took over a month of leaving voicemails, sending text messages, and her missing my calls to schedule one ride. She finally told me a day that I could come ride (which was a full month away) and was incredibly rude when I asked her if there was an earlier date that was available seeing as how she had been blowing me off for a full month when I had been trying to schedule a day to come ride. Other than dealing with Cheryl, the rest of the experience was awesome. I have a lot of riding experience (English and Western) and I have to say, the horse I rode had a beautiful gait. The staff treated me like I knew what I was doing and I am very pleased about that. It was my boyfriend's first time riding and the staff took a lot of time teaching him the basics. I am pleased with that as well. Most of the trail rides just have the horses walking the whole time but our trail guide let us trot and canter. Walking in the woods was really fun and relaxing. Overall, it was a great ride and I would definitely do it again! (I do not remember the names of the instructor and trail guide we spoke with but there was a woman with long red hair and her husband was our trail guide. Thank you so much for an awesome experience!) Note: Locating the ranch is somewhat difficult. Make sure you put the actual address into your GPS (if you're using a GPS) as opposed to "Horse Rides of Pensacola." If you don't, your GPS will lead you to somebody's house that is nowhere near the ranch.

When we saw the ad we were planning on going horseback riding. Then the owner showed up at my house and threatened me because she said we gave her a bad review. We told her this was a rental house but that didn't matter. We never went to her establishment to go horseback riding but with a psycho owner we will never go to her business. We are local and live around the block from her business and we will never go and ride.

My wife and I scheduled a class/short ride for a Monday morning with “Horse Rides of Pensacola.” The initial instructions received when the ride was scheduled a month earlier were a bit much to remember, so we arrived about 15 minutes before our appointment. We were met at the car by the owner and told to head to the barn a few minutes later. At the barn we were met by Shelby (the owner’s daughter) our instructor/trail guide; this was the beginning of a fun and exciting horseback ride. “Horse Rides of Pensacola” has a special weapon that no other place has: Shelby. This was my wife’s very first time on a horse -- or even being around horses. Shelby patiently explained every aspect of what she was doing and how it affected the animals. She took a first time rider and made her feel completely at ease. The short ride was just as enjoyable as the training. The small talk between the three of us was relaxing, and we even got Shelby to sing us a song she wrote while we were riding on the trail. Between Shelby’s great customer service and obvious love for these rescued horses, Horse Rides of Pensacola won our vote and our respect. We strongly recommend “Horse rides of Pensacola” to everyone!

We were in town for vacation and had the opportunity to go horseback riding. This place was the best horse riding experience I EVER had! They were very organized and informative on how to ride. They also have years of experience. The price was great and even if it was high it would have been worth every dime! Other places I've been to had was nothing compared Horse Rides of Pensacola. We had a range of rides from walking to galloping depending on our desires. Please go! You will enjoy every moment!

I booked a Valentine's Day date with them and it was truly special. Such a great time with our amazing trail guide and my girlfriend absolutely loved it. I'd been around horses as a kid and hadn't ridden in a while and instantly fell in love with it all over again. You have to ride through some streets before you get to the trail but its still a blast and definitely worth it. Thank you guys!!

Just got back from Horse Rides of Pensacola. Basically it was unprofessional, unkept, and just a 3 or 4 block horseback ride through a residential neighborhood, either walking on the streets or in people's yards. Our horses were obedient and well mannered, but other than that the place is pretty sketchy.

Pensacola has many things to do, but not everything can give you the experience of a lifetime. Horse Rides of Pensacola is an experience of a lifetime. From the well-educated and experienced leaders to the friendly controlled horses, it's the best experience for first time and/or experienced riders. The trail ride takes you to another a place that's peaceful and relaxing. Not a whole bunch of rules except the ones that keep you and the horse(s) safe. Outside that, you get to enjoy a leisure walk, trot, and short gallops, more than enough to give you a full experience. Cheryl and Richard are simply awesome! We had a blast! ☺
