Good food just over priced!!!!! My husband took me there for the first time and we both ordered the two meats and two teas and was about 30 bucks which I wouldn't mind if we got more than 4 baby ribs. They were super small ribs. But I fell in love with the mac and chz and macaroni salad so wen back the next day to get a pint of both and a soda and it was 15 bucks I was blown away. Probably won't be going back. People arnt made of money now a days.

Stacy- We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the food so much, you came back the next day! We would like to apologize if you felt it was overpriced. We pride ourselves on providing the best Barbeque around with quality ingredients which can sometimes get pricey. We can guarantee that our quality food will always match the price. Please come again soon to try our other menu items!

Really was looking forward to this place was more than disappointed first I guess I am spoiled I live in San Marcos so I have access to the best BBQ in the world ( Hays County BBQ, Blacks and City Market) But I thought what the heck Seen it on the show. ( Dinners drive in and dives)Place looked great. First ordering was so slow but I can live with that. Wanted to add no fountain drinks in a bad idea. I had 3 meat dinner brisket, ribs and sausage it was all just ok not very fresh but it was ok the sides suck and I know its sides but come on have a little flavor. Your sauce was below average and should not even be served maybe the show went to yall heads I dont know but will not be back and will spread the word In the area of Texas you are in its got to be good and this is just not. One day reruns will stop running and you will have to close unless you change just wanted to share

Very sorry that you didn’t like Texas Pride. We are a family business that has been operating in San Antonio for many years before food network showcased us. We have thousands of customers that love us and have been customers for years. I know barbecue fans have their favorites and we know there are going to be those that don’t like our place. I would suggest if you are unhappy with a meal at a restaurant that you voice your complaint with the management first, before you go on a campaign to spread negativity on every major website. Texas Pride’s reputation was not built on our television appearance but on our regular customers that love us. Please consider others’ feelings when you post these reviews. I just ask others that read these reviews to look at all the reviews you have posted on other restaurants and take it with a grain of salt and then come taste what my customers and many other reviewers believe is some of the best barbecue in Texas. Thanks, Tony Talanco Texas Pride Barbecue

Overpriced and overrated! This is the 67th Triple D spot I have traveled too and It did disappoint! One sandwich weighed on a scale and I payed $9 for it. The brisket was flavor less and bland and the decor is overzealous. I told the day manager that I had traveled from out of state to visit and they couldn't care less but the lousy food says how much this place cares about it customers - none!
