Last week NPR previewed Windhand's new video for 'Crypt Key.' Have a watch and catch them here with DANAVA + Monolord on Oct 30: http://bit.ly/1DDQYzT
The video for this creeping doom-metal waltz layers an array of cult images on top of each other.

Converted ex-chapel featuring a 40-ft. arched ceiling, bar & a wide variety of live-music acts.- Google
"The finger food was exotic and tasty, and the cocktails were well-made."
"The space is actually quite small, so don't expect a night club or anything."

This place is awesome. The food smells AMAZING, my only regret is not having been able to order anything. Next time I swear I will, and I will review it! This review, however, is for the venue. The space is actually quite small, so don't expect a night club or anything. Given the size however, The Chapel still manages to fit a fairly large number of people, if not at the bar, or the dance floor, then at the second bar inside on the second floor. I definitely recommend coming here for a show or concert, as those happen quite often. The crowd is always young and fun and you can expect to have a good time.

The Chapel was a great venue to catch a show. It definitely reminded me of being in a church and oozed an intimate vibe. The floor was a good size and you can see the stage at any point.

Amazing space for live music, it's an intimate setting with a great view from every spot. Friendly bartenders and a good selection.

Beautiful arched ceiling, this place was once an chapel that was converted to a restaurant/bar/nightclub. The attached restaurant called the Vestry, with an outdoor pation, can be booked for private parties, and offers a variety of seasonal menu items. The also host Sports Night, which is free, where they broadcast the live games of the Giants, 49ers, etc. Fun all around!

This is not a bad spot for drinks in the Mission. The drinks are actually really tasty and you can find yourself throwing more than one back. The food was tasty! We had fried chicken, which was really good and the mussels, which also were really tasty, and I don't even like mussels. I had the bartender make me some drinks, but didn't ask what they were. All I know is that they were delicious tequila treats! On prior visits I had the Jalapeño Margarita, and that was also delicious.

Nice intimate space. Worst sound I've heard at a venue in a long time. Need a new engineer and a lot more speakers!

Incredible environment but half of the bar got extremely loud to the point that the music was blaring and I could not hear the server. The drinks were relatively affordable and the staff was quite attentive. Thankfully there was a more quiet area for us to go but it was clearly the usual restaurant area.

THIS IS AN AWESOME VENUE! Been here for a handful of shows and I am not exaggerating when I say, BEST INTIMATE VENUE. You're really able to get up and personal with the artists and not have to deal with large crowds of people who just want to push past everyone to get to the front. Sound system is great, not overpowering but loud enough to feel the music. The upstairs area is also very fun, with a bar. Drinks are a little pricey but I've actually enjoyed the all ages shows more.
