According to Forrester Research , “Sitecore is strongly unambiguous about its vision for its technology and how it wants its customers to engage with their customers. It involves building and selling a deep suite of capabilities where many, if not all, of the tools come in a tightly integrated Sitecore package. The company has proven WCM technology and is frequently found on WCM vendor shortlists (especially among organizations with a preference for .NET-based solutions). It also has one of the largest qualified (and active) networks of digital agencies and system integrators that also help push its solution. Sitecore's strategic evolution from a WCM player to a broader provider of web experience management tools is clear…” (The Forrester Wave for Web Content Management For Digital Experience, April 2013)

Introducing a new weekly feature on the blog, The Sunday Share, where I'll be sharing interesting presentations on business, content, social media, marketing and more from Slideshare.com.

This week, "Publisher - The New Marketeer", a short but good look at the impact content is having on marketing, and why agencies need to adapt.

Well we thought if they were open on Christmas Eve the experience would be great - but as soon s we walked in we felt like unwelcome guests even though we'd made a reservation. If they didn't want people booking that late they shouldn't have accepted the reservation and told us we would have to come earlier. We felt rushed to order. I was delighted that escargot were on the special board. The 2007 Bordeaux was scrumptious. The steak frites was good (sauce aux poivre not good - very thick and salty). My husband was licking his lips until he was told confit de canard was sold out - so he chose lamb. It was nice but very ordinary. As soon as we were finished our plates were taken and we were asked about dessert - at which point it became clear by all the pushing around of tables upstairs, maps and brooms everywhere that we were the unwanted guests. For £100 bill I had a hard time keeping my merry Christmas smile - simply because I ate a very mediocre dinner in the midst of a cleaning crew. We didn't finish our dessert. We didn't bother to order l'Absinthe or another digestif. We want across the street to The Princess of Wales. And there we did have some Christmas cheer and my husband said, he wished we had just eaten there. I'm very sorry l'Absinthe but my husband says we will not be back.
