I just saw the ORPHAN X cover and it is killer. Can't wait to show it to you guys. Seeing the cover is always my favorite part of the publishing process. It's the moment when the story starts to transition out of my head and become something real in the world.

The problem with adapting your own novel for a screenplay is you can keep rewriting your dialogue FOREVER.

Just got an email from a reader offended by the religious background of one of my antagonists. From my reply: "My aim when I write is not to offend but my aim also is not NOT to offend. It is to tell a good story."

A gorgeous, sumptuous, noirish poem by Joseph Moncure March, illustrated by Art Spiegelman (thanks @BlastoffComics).

I just finished reading a collection of Mark Twain quotations. For inexhaustible wit, I count him and three others - Dorothy Parker, Oscar Wilde, Winston Churchill. Who am I missing?

You might die of cuteness overdose but here's a cheetah cub being raised with a Rhodesian ridgeback puppy. http://www.zooborns.com/zooborns/2015/04/cheetah-cub-has-new-puppy-companion.html
A Cheetah cub, being hand-raised by staff at Wildlife Safari, was recently introduced to a companion that will, hopefully, change her life for the better! Photo Credits: Wildlife Safari; Video Credits: The News-Review / Kate Stringer Wildlife Safari, in Oregon,...

Go see Ex Machina. It's dazzling, suspenseful, and refreshingly smart.
