A variety of dishes including seasonal curries is the draw to this casual, colorful Thai eatery.- Google
"And the crispy tofu is perfectly crisp, and it comes with rice!"
"The curry dishes are pretty good I'll say, but the pad thai was the worst."

I've been to Thailand a couple of years ago, and it's the first place I've found which tasted as good as local restaurants. I always get the same thing: massaman curry with coconut rice.

Lemongrass is a beautiful restaurant with cozy seating and lovely decor. Luckily they still seated us despite our not so super lovely attire. The menu looked awesome and I went for one of their specials that day- ginger chicken. The food came out right away but I found the overall taste of my dish to be too sweet. I tried my friend's pad thai and my other friend's curry and they were all way sweeter than they are supposed to be. It really through me off and took away from the experience. Our server was super nice and speedy and the prices were decent for the portions. However, I couldn't get past how sweet it was, so I can't imagine I will return.

I am on the hunt for my favorite Pad Thai. Lemongrass certainly didn't have it for me. But like Thailand all regions make it a little different. Prices were fair.

I LOVE this place. If you want a casual, cheap, and easy meal, come here! I always get the soup (YEN TA FOH) or the crispy tofu. The soup is incredibly delicious though a little spicy. And the crispy tofu is perfectly crisp, and it comes with rice! I've heard great things about their vegetarian dishes, the pineapple fried rice, and the pad thai. I really love the service here as well - they always fill up your water glass, and they always give you a lemon in the water without asking! I have never had to make a reservation to come here, but it can get pretty busy as an FYI. I've come on weeknights or weekend nights.

good local takeout Thai restaurant. They are efficient and nice there, but really not a notable place. I like their won sen soup which is a glass noodle soup with ground chicken; one of their only unique dishes.

We ordered delivery and it arrived within 45 minutes. We ordered the Lemongrass chicken savoury and the Pad Thai. I thought both dishes were just ok, I would have liked the Pad Thai to have a little more kick. Overall, a good place to order takeout especially for the price.

I've eaten at lemongrass several times now on my search for a great casual thai place in SF and each time I've been less likely to go back. The curry dishes are pretty good I'll say, but the pad thai was the worst. The service though is very nice and I think that along with a good veggie curry is what keeps giving me hope.
