Rembrandt Park is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. I spent about a year and a half in a one bedroom here. I'm moving and I wish I could take this place with me. PROS: Good, safe location in town, kind people, a wonderful office staff and the apartments are big and reasonably priced. There's no where in Boise that's "unsafe" and this end of town is fine. I never saw anything suspicious and my car was never messed with. I'm a single young woman and I always felt 100% safe here. The people who live here are nice and say hello at the mailbox. You'll see some people walking their dogs or having fun at the pool and everyone smiles. I think the office did a good job at finding the right tennants to keep the atmosphere pleasant. The ladies in the office are extremely helpful. CONS: The location in town is far from the cooler areas of Boise, and the noise. First, living near the stripmails along Fairview is kinda bland when you can live downtown, by BSU or along Parkcenter. Like I said, safety is never an issue here, but it takes me about 20 minutes to drive anywhere fun (the river, the foothills, the downtown night life) to meet people or to get to work. Check this place out on a map to see if you like the idea of living in far west Boise. There's a Wal-Mart, grocery stores, restaurants and decent highway access nearby to counter-act the distance from the other stuff, so it balances out. And the noise...oh the noise. The only reason I mention this is because I swear my upstairs neighbor is running a fat camp in her apartment. I can hear her stomping around, I can hear her alarm in the morning, and I can hear her screeching at her boyfriend in late-night fights. HOWEVER I realize this is probably unique to the building I'm in. I've never heard a peep from the other neighbors. Outside my window I can hear kids on the playground and sometimes people at the pool, but that's great. It's the sound of a community! Overall, I recommend this place to everyone. There's a good mix of professionals, families, young people and seniors who live here so it's a nice fit for anyone!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!
