An interesting commentator on Big (personal) Data, the Internet Age, privacy, tyranny and economic cataclysm, and decision-predictive manipulation and consequences -- like in Minority Report, the movie based on the short story by Philip K. A working quantum Internet has been running for two years now at Los Alamos National Lab -- said to offer perfect session privacy due to quantum indeterminacy.

Visual mapping of the interconnections among the largest corporations in the world.  Fascinating.  147 of these are "heavily" interconnected, and according to the article presumably heavily change-resistant.  They own and control most of the others (ed: 1318 companies in total).
