#Resume Tip:

You do not need to list every job you’ve ever had on your resume. Don't think of your resume as a comprehensive list of your career history, but as a marketing document selling you as the perfect person for the job. Make sure that each job you have listed has meaning on the resume and was held in the last 10 or 15 years.

You're driving to an interview and find yourself in a terrible traffic jam so you're going to be late. Do you:

A. Turn around and go home- you are not going to create a good impression at this job, so there is no point.
B. Carry on - the recruiter probably won't notice that you're late and trying to call them will mean you'll be even later.
C. Pull over to a side road and call the recruiter to apologize, eplain the situation and ask if you can still attend.
D. Carry on and think of a convincing story of why you were late on the way.

A. Smile and try to make a joke- "Is it dress down Friday, I thought it was Monday today."
B. Smile and acknowledge the awkwardness saying, "I'm sorry, I appear to be overdressed."
C. Ignore it - as it really doesn't matter.
D. Decide you wouldn't want the job even if it's offered to you, it's obviously not a professional organization.
