Located in the historic 100 year old Cottage Grove Hotel, Buster’s Main Street Cafe is named to honor famous actor and director Buster Keaton.

Keaton filmed his classic movie “The General” in Cottage Grove in 1926. He and his film crew stayed at the hotel during production.

Come to Cottage Grove to see its covered bridges and enjoy its colorful local events like Bohemia Mining Days in July and Buster Keaton Days in August, but stay for the fantastic food at Buster’s Main Street Cafe.

Buster’s, like its namesake, offers up some real classics for breakfast and lunch, such as Biscuits and Gravy, Reuben sandwiches, and Prime Rib Philly Cheesesteak, as well as some unique options, such as Elk Burgers, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Smoked Corned Beef Hash, Apple Struesel French Toast.

You will find amazing food in a unique setting with wonderful service. Owner Paul Tocco’s main focus is to provide quality food, service, and hospitality. All three can be found for breakfast and lunch (8:00 am - 2:00 pm daily) along with a real slice of history at this stop off of I-5’s Exit 174.

The owner is a Groupon Hater! The Owner Hung up on Me when He Found Out I had a Groupon! 3 years ago we bought a Groupon. When we pulled up, our baby boy was not feeling good, so my wife went in to order us some meals to go. They told her sorry we don't do to-go's with Groupon. Ummm... Ok.. whatever. They apparently didn't want a new customer to try their food. 3 years later, we're in the area again, hungry and decided to at least try it out and use the money we paid for the Groupon (they don't expire). Well, we couldn't go in, (kids finally fell asleep while driving). Paul, the owner, was rude and said He won't do a take out (like what?!) with Groupon. I said, it's not a groupon deal anymore, we just to order a few sandwiched and at least use the $10 we already gave you 3 years ago, as we've never used it. He rudely said, we don't do take- outs on the weekend and then while I was talking hung up on me! You can imagine I was pretty darn mad at that point. I called back and while expressing my dissatisfaction he just hung up on me. Well, guess what, I can make healthy buffalo burger and Ruben's at home! I don't need them to treat us like that and rip us off in the process. If you like to eat at places where the owner is a fake and rude to people who buy a promotion (one that he created) then go to Buster's I guess. I just don't think people like that should be serving anyone food! Blessings!

Stopped in for lunch after seeing these exceptional reviews. I had the BookTimer and my husband had the Monte Cristo. Both were delicious. They have a nice variety with fresh ingredients. The craft soda menu was impressive! The staff was very friendly. We are going to try breakfast before we leave the area!

Breakfast is very important to me, and Buster's has some of the best omelettes and pancakes I've ever had. The service is great, and Paul,. the owner, takes pride in making sure everything is fresh and delicious. He also owns the bottle shop next door from which you can order almost any kind of craft soda or beer you can think of. Go there!

Fantastic food and great service. We liked benedicts, omelets, and eventing they come with: hash browns, toasts etc. Ignore the settings, go for the food.

Busters is the best place to eat breakfast or lunch in Lane County. I am always impressed with the wonderful selection of specials that you wont find anywhere else. Service is outstanding and Busters does an amazing amount to give back to the community. This is exactly what a hometown restaurant should be.

Great little cafe.

It's Monday (11/18). Look what the chef has created for you today.

Black Bean "Bene": House made black bean patty on a bed of home fries, peppers and onions. Two poached eggs and chipotle hollandaise sauce topped with avocado.

Island Style Rolled Pork Sandwich: Pork shoulder in roasted pineapple habanero sauce topped with haystack onions on a ciabatta roll. Choice of side.

“Hop Pocket” Kangaroo patty in a pita pocket w/lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and roasted garlic ketchup. Choice of side.
The ground Kangaroo used for this feature tastes similar to the grass fed beef we serve. Do not be afraid!

Nutella Mascarpone stuffed french toast with brulee bananas and candied bacon.

Busters's Main Street Cafe is open until 2:00pm. Breakfast and lunch is served all day.
