Located in the historic 100 year old Cottage Grove Hotel, Buster’s Main Street Cafe is named to honor famous actor and director Buster Keaton.
Keaton filmed his classic movie “The General” in Cottage Grove in 1926. He and his film crew stayed at the hotel during production.
Come to Cottage Grove to see its covered bridges and enjoy its colorful local events like Bohemia Mining Days in July and Buster Keaton Days in August, but stay for the fantastic food at Buster’s Main Street Cafe.
Buster’s, like its namesake, offers up some real classics for breakfast and lunch, such as Biscuits and Gravy, Reuben sandwiches, and Prime Rib Philly Cheesesteak, as well as some unique options, such as Elk Burgers, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Smoked Corned Beef Hash, Apple Struesel French Toast.
You will find amazing food in a unique setting with wonderful service. Owner Paul Tocco’s main focus is to provide quality food, service, and hospitality. All three can be found for breakfast and lunch (8:00 am - 2:00 pm daily) along with a real slice of history at this stop off of I-5’s Exit 174.
