My family and I have been to Cornerstone Ranch on several different visits, including trail rides, sleigh rides, and a wagon ride! Each time enjoying ourselves more and more- the kids now ages 10 and 13 have done one lesson for riding and are simply loving Sue, the owner and the other wonderful staff. Great place to come and relax!

First off this place is about 2 miles down a bumpy dirt road.I bought a 1 hour trail ride on groupon so I expected to be on the trail for 1 hour,but it was only about 35 -40 min on the trail so it SHOULD NOT BE CALLED A 1 HOUR TRAIL RIDE.Total RIPOFF.They tell you to get there a 1/2 hour early to sign in and fill out paper work for liability,but no one was there until 3:30 the time the trail ride was supposed to start. The 1 hour is getting helmets and getting on the horse and doing exercises so our ride didn't start until 3:50.Also a VERY SLOW ride.Save your money or find some place other than Cornerstone.Will never go back or recommend them to anyone.The only positive was the weather it was beautiful.Also the trail was very muddy so if you do want to waste your money and go wear old clothes.

Very unprofessional service. I went there for my anniversary and drove 2 hours out from Boston. We bought our ticket through Groupon. My boyfriend made reservations specifically for our anniversary day and the woman Sue said we weren't on the list and basically just told us to leave even though she had 2 extra horses, AND we were already on our horses. GEE shouldn't she have looked at her reservation list before she decided to put people on the horses? And I KNOW we DID make reservations because the website even asked for our weights and once the reservation was done it said "Congratulations, see you there". What really pissed me off was that when she didn't look at her "reservation list" yet, she was WILLING to use the 2 extra ponies for two people who came late. POOR customer service and she had no sympathy that we took the time to drive 2 HOURS to ride her damn horses. I will NEVER recommend this place. And when I asked how I could get a refund all she said was "OR you can just book another day". NO I will NOT drive 2 hours again for the customer service that I received from this place.

My wife and I purchased a 1 hour guided trail ride. I think for riders who have never been on a horse before it would have been great. We had both been riding before and were expecting to be able to go at a decent pace, however there was a person walking at the front of the line and we were only allowed to go as fast as this person was walking. So, if you are looking for a very slow paced intro to riding on a horse it's fine. Anything beyond that and you will be disappointed. The staff were nice and the horses were all extremely well behaved.

Such a great experience! Simply the best establishment open to the public that I have ever ridden at. In a word, these people are *professional.* We can't wait to go back for another ride! Was an incredibly enjoyable experience and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a horseback riding Thank you Sue and daughters.

I have been taking riding lessons at the Cornerstone Ranch bi-weekly for the last nine months and sporadically before that for a year. The owner, Sue, is an excellent riding instructor with her no nonsense, but humorous and constructive approach to teaching. During that time I have learned horsemanship as well as riding. I can sit or post a trot and can cantor and change leads on several different horses. I always come away from a lesson having learned something and I always go home happy. Sue's horses are extremely well trained and taken care of. They have been trained to respond to verbal commands and gentle riding. For care they receive grain every day and have hay 24/7 and they are handled kindly and gently. They reside outside just the way horses do on a western ranch or in the wild. I have only done one trail ride with Sue, but it was fun and easy going. The two other people who went with us were given instruction before we went out and came back smiling. The one hour ride went away from the ranch into the woods, down a long trail, through more woods, over some small hills then back again. The trail rides are intended to be walking rides but if someone falls behind it is often necessary to trot a short distance to catch up, the same way it is done on any dude ranch out west. The rates for rides and lessons are reasonable and fair. I look forward to every trip out there and know it is a good value.

I never thought I would write a review about any company, but the customer service here was horrible. I am a manager for a very nice restaurant in Boston and so I know a little about how a business should treat their customers. I bought two 2 hour trail-rides and made a reservation a week in advanced. Unfortunately for me the day that I reserved ended up having severe storm conditions and flash flood warnings in Princeton. I called at least 10 times within a two day period. The day prior and the day of my reservation, and not once did anyone pick up the phone. I sent an email after reading on their website that you can contact them via email since they were "probably out with the horses." I asked if they were going to be open because I live two hours away, and did not want to waste my time driving there just to find out they were closed. I never received a response. I sent another email and finally 5 days later received a response saying "You can book another trail ride for the same price." So basically they waited until my reservation passed to tell me that I should have driven there and that I could have waited out the storm, and I won't be able to reschedule or get my money back. Well I will never go there and I would not recommend them to anyone. I read another review on here with a similar situation so clearly I'm not the only person who has experienced their version of "good customer service."

Had purchased sled/wagon ride groupon this past winter and due to no snow opted to do the wagon ride. I had also purchased a couple of the summer riding camp sessions so I thought going to the "ranch" for the wagon ride would be a great opportunity to check things out. Wow what an enlighting experience that was! Similar to so many reviews the wagon ride was a joke, rode in circles in 3 different areas all within a 100 yds of each other, ride was only 20 mins which was not a problem because longer would probably just make you dizzy! The "ranch" is very poorly maintained. the wagon was in bad shape, the staff (coach driver and owners daughter) seemed pleasant enough but things drasticly lacked organization - No greeting upon arrival, things appeared not maintained, virtually no direction from staff. Everyone who arrived got instruction only from others who had managed to muddle through the experience. This experience provoked me to highly reconsider sending my kids off to camp there but nevertheless I choose to give them one shot toward redemption by posing some general questions to them so I could get some reassuarnce of saftey -specifically: How many kids per session? What is the instructor (certified) to child ratio? What is the staff to child ratio and what makes up the staff –(age, qualifications)? CRP certified? Cori reports on all staff? How many seasons has the summer camp been in existence? References? Break down of Daily schedule/activities? Are you licesed to be a camp? I received no response. I tried again to get the q's answered and again no response. I cancelled my groupon sent them a note and then finally got a response from the owner within a couple hours simply saying -Thanks for letting us know of the cancellation... I am very wary of any children’s camp that chooses not to answer the simple questions I posed!
