What happened at 7:07 in the video? Looks like a bad edit; something is missing.

Nope. That's a server. It has far more memory and cores than this Process Manager screenshot.

It's as if the presenter doesn't know the topic and is just reading a script. The slides are quite interesting, but a presenter who actually knew the topic would have added more value with a better narration.

Try playing at speed 1.25 - just keep your mouse over the pause button in case you need to allow your brain to occasionally catch up.

I waited in line for 15 minutes to get to a pump. A full tank takes about 4 minutes to pump. I waited 6 more minutes for the attendant to return. 25 minutes for a tank of gas! When inside, I asked the cashier if there was only one attendant. He gave a wiseacre answer: "There's another one out back", indicating the truck-only diesel islands. Let's say I only waited 2 minutes in line, and two minutes for the attendant to return. That would still be annoying, but it would mean I only spent 8 minutes getting gas. If the station were properly run, the 17 minutes saved would let it pump four more tanks -- four more customers, and that much more profit. I can't guess how much longer this business will be open with its terrible service, but maybe they'll soon realize that they'd be able to help more customers, make more money, and generate more goodwill if they just had another attendant.
