These are some great tips on how you can prepare before you put your house on the market. I'd suggest also having an appraiser come through so you have a working list of to-do's as well.  That way you can put together a plan of attack on any repairs, updates, etc. you need to make and avoid the last-minute crunch or the need to make repairs during negotiations.

Inventory rising again Could be good news if you're a home buyer.

REO Inventory Rising Again

The number of REO properties increased to 430,000 as of March 2014, according to a new blog post by CoreLogic’s Sam Khater. March's figure reflects an increase of 15 percent from the low point of REO inventory in August 2013, when properties totaled 375,000.
