It was frustrating to say the least. But, we plan on giving it another go. Any clue how to make the emulator rotate?Feb 16, 2015
+Benjamin Flanagin According to the emulator documentation (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Emulator) you can press KEYPAD_9 or Ctrl-F12. Luckily I own a Nexus 4, I've never used the emulator.Feb 16, 2015
+Sturm Flut The documentation may say that, but I've never gotten it to work.Feb 16, 2015
+Robert Schroll I just tried the emulator and the key bindings for rotation worked instantly. Ubuntu 14.10 x86_64 on the host side, with the SDK PPA installed.Feb 16, 2015
FWIW, I tried it again, and now left control F12 rotates, but right control F12 (which is probably what I tried as an easier one-handed chord) doesn't. Numpad 9 also doesn't work, but I've a laptop keyboard, so it may be doing something funky there.
However, apps don't seem to react to the rotation. Everything just displays sideways.
This is on 14.04 + SDK PPA.Feb 16, 2015
