As someone who leads professional development learning programs, I love this post! I especially liked #8 (discuss what you're learning with co-workers) and #10 (make connections with the material). So important to give yourself opportunities to ruminate on what you've learned, so you can apply it more easily and naturally as you go along. Your bottom line is quite apt: If there isn't a change after the program, I suggest you've failed the program. When people take responsibility for their own learning, they will change and grow. If they expect it to happen by magic, they won't.
