Guys, just a heads up, we're not dead. We're actually working on a top secret project for our channel that will be released in the next couple of weeks. Hang in there. We don't like having this much time in-between videos but it will be worth it!

Guys, we're not doing this INSTEAD of our other series. This is being created as a side project.

Alright, so people are getting angry that we turned the comments off on the vessel video. If anyone wants to link people to this post, please do, it should help clear things up.
Why do I need to go to Vessel to see your videos?!
You don't NEED to. Our videos will be on our YouTube channel as usual. Nothing will change YouTube-wise.

Why would I pay for something I'll get for free a week later?!
You don't have to, that's the beauty of it. This option is here for the people who really can't wait for the next episode of An Egg's Guide, or Villager News. We're not expecting all of you to go to Vessel. Not even 2% of you. But it's there for everyone if they choose to do that. And it would help us out creating videos greatly!

So you're just sitting on videos for 7 days just to make some money!?
We don't always release videos on the day they're completed. We try to release on a Friday so it gets the maximum exposure on YouTube, even if it was completed on a Monday, Tuesday or any other day. We have a schedule which we try to stick to as best we can. We endured a few sleepless nights in the last two weeks doing 3 weeks worth of work getting The Crack finished a week early and bringing our entire schedule forward a week. So early access is a possibility for some of our audience. The YouTube channel will see absolutely no change in our schedule.

You sold out!!
No, we really didn't. Nothing has changed, we aren't altering our content to suit anyone else's needs, we weren't paid by Vessel to promote the platform, nothing is going to change on our YouTube channel. This is something we heard about and though was pretty cool.

But why do you need to do this?! You get money from YouTube AND Patreon!
We have been creating videos for you guys for a few years now under some extreme financial pressure. We're still giving you guys it for free and we don't plan to ever stop doing that. You can't really blame us for looking for other revenue streams when YouTube takes a 45% cut of already quite limited advertising revenue. You all seem to think we make tens of thousands from this. We don't, we really don't. Any of you that have jobs probably earn more than we do from YouTube. Some YouTubers, vloggers, lets players are able to make more than us (some A LOT MORE) because they're able to release content on a daily basis. We can't. And we're not trying to release content on a daily basis, if we did that, the quality would drop. We love what we do and we don't want to skimp when it comes to quality. You also have to remember that we're not just one person creating these videos we have over 7 people making the videos and sometimes more if needed. Those people also need money to live. Animation takes a LONG time. One person doing a 2-3 minute animation can take months. We get new animations out that are 2-3 minutes long at least every 3 weeks. This takes 7 people 40 hours a week to achieve, and that's definitely costly. Recently that's taken a hit because we lost a member of our team but that is our average. Most YouTubers are "One Man Bands". Vloggers, Let's players, etc are usually just single people that are able to produce LONGER content daily. LONGER CONTENT = more premium advertisements = more money. So yeah, there are a bunch of YouTubers living it up. We can't produce longer content, if we did, it would take months and we probably wouldn't make enough back from the amount we'd lose not releasing shorter animations. And yes, we know exactly how much you guys hate waiting for videos. There are numerous comments stating that we haven't released videos in 3-4 months. That has never happened...and never will. We care about our videos, we want to make the best videos we possibly can and if we can do it in a timely manner, we will release longer videos.
Patreon has helped immensely, the guys supporting us over there are amazing and we love you all! While Patreon does ease the blow, it doesn't get rid of it completely and we're thankful to everyone who is supporting us there. We're not interested in being rich, being able to afford decent houses, cars, etc. All we care about is being able to do what we do and be able to eat, that isn't going to change. Making these videos is reward enough for us we just want to be able to continue doing that.

Are you the only one on Vessel?
No! Lots of other creators feel the same way we do. Vessel has teamed up with a whole bunch of the top creators on YouTube that put quality above all else.
We are simply one of the first channels to tell you guys about it. Vessel is in beta right now, but it will be completely open to the public soon. People who use our link will be accepted into the beta though.

Vessel is good for content creators, but it's also good for the viewers too. I believe I'm correct in stating that vessel, once fully released to the public (it's in beta right now) will have free access to videos just like you do on YouTube. The only reason you would have to pay is if you wanted to see videos earlier. We're not looking to take money from any of you, we wouldn't dream of that. We're simply putting options out there for everyone for if they would like to do that.

Sorry about the huge essay guys, but there's a whole bunch of misinformation going around in the comments section.
I'm gonna end on some good news: We have nearly finished VillagerTV 2, we have started production on Egg's Guide 15 and we have a script for Villager News 3!
It's gonna be a good couple of months for Element Animation fans!

Stay awesome, guys.
