Guy Adams, a Los Angeles correspondent for London paper The Independent, was suspended from Twitter on July 30 after tweeting the email account of Gary Zenkel, the President of NBC Olympics.
In an email to Adams, Twitter stated that his “account has been suspended for posting an individual’s private information such as private email address, physical address, telephone number, or financial documents.”
According to Adams, the email address he tweeted is a public, corporate email address, and should not be considered private information.
Should Adams have been suspended, or was his tweet justified?
