* New Official Release: OpenSimulator version 0.9.0.1 * is now available.

This version includes several bug fixes and little improvements since the release of 0.9.0 almost a year ago.
This is identical to version 0.9.1.0 Dev from our git master branch as it was at June 30, 2018 So it is the version most of you did refer to as 0.9.1.0 up to that date (including Osgrid releases for example)

...to reveal that ice melting in Antarctica has not only raised sea levels by 7.6 mm since 1992, but, critically, almost half of this rise has occurred in the last five years.

Andrew Shepherd from the University of Leeds in the UK and Erik Ivins from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory led a group of 84 scientists from 44 international organisations in research that has resulted in the most complete picture to date of how Antarctica’s ice sheet is changing.
In a major collaborative effort, scientists from around the world have used information from satellites to reveal that ice melting in #Antarctica has not only raised sea levels by 7.6 mm since 1992, but, critically, almost half of this rise has occurred in the last five years.

Great free resource for streaming your in-world training sessions and events
Try free Jitsi desktop video conferencing if you need to have an online meeting with video, voice, text chat, screen sharing, and document collaboration

No registration or software install is even needed. You just head over to https://meet.jit.si and choose the room name you want to use and you start the session. Just e-mail or text message the link out and others click to join the meeting from their desktops or phones (again no registration).

Another feature is being able to play a streaming video within the room, for example, a YouTube video. It also has a button for people to raise a "virtual hand" to speak.

It really does not get much cheaper or easier than this! You can set a password for anyone to enter the room if you wish to.

Jitsi is free and open source software and is often found embedded in websites and team chat services to provide a fully functional video conferencing functionality, The link above is for their stand-alone service.

Yes +Leighton Marjoram, thank you for sharing, a wonderful design indeed.
[Jambalaya - offworld Grid]
offworld.eu:8002:Jambalaya

Jambalaya is a beautiful region on the Offworld Grid by Genie Fegte and was a lovely region to explore at the end of my busy day. The landscaping is well done and there are little details that you need to explore with your camera.

[quote taken from the Opensim World website]:
Jamabalaya is a natural sim, with many trees, watercourses, plants and a few isolated houses. Everything I got "free to copy" on my travels through the Hypergrid is of course still copyable.

I'm working on a nice sequence of PMAC II animations that's supposed to be fun and a bit entertaining, rather than just sitting around a campfire. If you happen to know animation resources in the category "fun" / "amusing", i'd surely appreciate a link.
at grid.vibel.eu:8002:weslorien you can play with the current WIP campfire/PMAC2 and fetch a copy to enhance it yourself
