Mikage matsuri Festival is a part of an important ritual ceremony in Aoi matsuri Festival. The Shinto priests visit Mikage Shrine to receive deities back to Shimogamo jinja Shrine. It is considered as the most ancient Shinto ceremonial procession in Japan. My name is Akiko Morita. I am a highly experienced and trained travel photographer and videographer, providing photographs and videos to media and travel companies internationally.

I lived and worked in London last twelve years. I now split my time in Japan and outside. This unique life style brings me a rich cultural, historical and intellectual understanding of Asia, Europe and North America.
