Excellent, friendly service, clean room!, nice large hot breakfast, comfortable beds and pillows, off the road 200 yards (quiet), hot tub and heated pool. Needs an office chair for the desk tho...had to say something bad to make this glowing review believable :-)

I travel on business alot. I stay in the Comfort Inns and Quality Inns because I refuse to sleep in cramped hotels with crappy beds. This Comfort Inn is nestled (oddly) right behind a Sleep Inn. Indeed, you have to drive through the Sleep In to get to the hotel. The Comfort Inn is a nice facility. It is immaculately clean. The problem is the instrusive staff. When I arrived it was to stay one to two nights because I had moved to Huntsville and my house was not going to be ready for two days. The night clerk, Joyce, was wonderful. She told me where to park the giant U-Haul and my F-250 with the horse trailer. The next morning, the staff had changed and my vehicles were suddenly an irritant. Also, Joyce had given me an AARP rate the first night and the second night the staff wanted me to pay full price. When I declined a room clean up from housekeeping, the manager, a slender Indian-born woman, banged on the door and asked my wife if we were happy with the room, etc., all the while looked past my wife to check on the room. Really? Unbelievable. The hotel is quiet because its 150 to 200 feet off University Blvd. There's a nice Hooters next door and a Chick-Fil-A next to that so you don't have to drive to go eat. Oh, and the entrance can only be approached from the west-bound lanes of University due to a median.

The staff were nice, the hotel was new and clean. But I wouldn't stay there again. We went to an event that lasted into the middle of the night and wanted to sleep late in the morning. The curtains don't close, so we couldn't block the sunlight and didn't get any rest. There is no point of staying in a hotel if you can't sleep. The amenities don't matter when you are not rested. If we were there for more than one night I would have checked out and gotten a different hotel.
