So funny to see what right wing folks get mad about. Especially when they get mad about people playing back what they said unedited and unmodified.

Remember if you don't like my political posts all you have to do is unfollow my 'Politics' collection to no longer see them.

Here is Trumps America rolling out before our eyes. The kind of country where those in power think they can do whatever they want and that women are second class citizens.
GREENWICH, Conn. — A well-known Greenwich Republican called a town worker "nothing but a bloodsucking lazy union employee" and later reached in from behind to place his hand between her legs and pinch her in the groin area, acc...

That's not how you do it; first you compliment her then you pinch her groin.

Putting together a buy/sell/trade list. Going to be offering it up to locals first as I always try to support the local gaming community. Got a lot going on the chopping block. Almost a complete set of Twilight 2000 books, my interest in the game has gone and I don't see myself going back to it. Various odds and ends, some GURPS stuff, a signed copy of Numenera.

One thing I did notice is that my 'want' list is rather short. So far only eight books on it. The seven Citybook's from Flying Buffalo and the Pathfinder core rule book. After that I'm not sure if there is anything else I really want.

I'll be going through some more totes tomorrow and making the list even longer. This seems like more of a chore than I anticipated.

I've seen this claim before about PbtA systems and now I see somebody saying it again.

"One thing I like about PbtA is it considers and formalizes players breaking character to ask refining questions. The "meta-conversation" sharpens detail, preventing the GM from needlessly having to explain each and every bit. The people at the table are not their characters; they don't have all the countless bits of information their characters do. Having an OOC conversation about that information actually prevents a lot of frustration and wasted time, which I love."

I'm sorry but this doesn't seem any different than the way most of our groups around here play. A bit of OOC talk to fill in the gaps of what the player knows as opposed to what the character knows. This seems standard course of action to me and nothing new at all.

Reminds me of when Monte Cook was saying one of the 'revolutionary' things about Cypher was that you figure up the target roll before you actually roll the dice. Which left most gamers I know saying "Yeah... that's how we've always done it.".

Yeah the moves is one of the things I dislike about the system.  It doesn't work for me at all.  But the above is one of the points I see a lot as to why the system is so 'great'.

Is it bad that I hope tonight on Saturday Night Live they jab at Trump again just so I can watch him cry like a baby on Twitter?

Need some gaming inspiration? Well here you go.

So, inspiration for a game, anyone?
Legend has it the locals fled the city due to a curse bringing disease. When it was discovered 500 years later, a group of explorers were the latest to incur the monkey god's wrath

Nice layer of ice and it is still slowly coming down. Not as bad as they predicted though. Dammit though I forgot to cover up the grill before it hit.

Story

Always listening to the voices in my head.
Introduction
Over worked, over weight, stressed out, worn out.

Basically I'm an old school gamer (meaning I use dice and pencils instead of a xbox controller) who still has fond memories of the times when I used to be able to actually play them.

Also a former single father raising two children 24/7.  The only time I don't have them is when I'm at work and they are at daycare/school.  Now however I have someone who is with me for all my goods and bads, not to mention a great step mother to my children.

Sometimes my sentences make no sense since my hands and brain operate at different speeds.

Specialty circles: RPG, POLITICS and probably one or two I've thought up after posting this.  There were a few more but they are gone now.  If you would like in one let me know although I usually post everything in PUBLIC.  But sometimes I get specific.
