Gardening really can change the way you feel. Ask any gardener why they enjoy gardening and many will say that it "makes them feel good.
If you are going through a difficult period in your life or are experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression gardening can help you to improve your emotional well-being, feel happier, healthier and more confident.
Over the next few weeks Gill and Lis will be preparing the Edible Courtyard Garden at Kyra for the new season. We will be painting the furniture and incorporating compost into the soil.
This year we will be growing lots of edibles again but also plenty of flowers so that the garden will have colour throughout the year.
Gardening sessions proper will start again every week on a Thursday from 4th May 2017 2pm to 4pm
If you want to help with preparations we'd love to see you!
