I have been using Greasy Monkey Transmission now for over 5 years. I have had them work on my company vehicles and personal vehicles, I never had any issues. They are also very honest and fair with their pricing. I have recommended this place to many friends and every has been extremely satisfied. Any issue that may have came up, Greasy Monkey was easy to come to a resolution with. I would highly recommend Greasy Monkey Transmission in North Richland Hills, TX.

I've taken a number of cars there and I've always received curious, fast, high quality and affordable repairs. My dodge needed a transmission rebuild. Dealer quoted 4200. Grease Monkey did it for under 2k. Car runs fine. I brought a friend by that had a quote from another repair shop for a few hundred to fix a problem with fuel lines. They were able to point out the one line that was bad and fixed it for about 50$.

My husband took my son's car here and even though my husband chose this place without reading any reviews, we couldn't be more pleased. My husband said, "I just got a good vibe when I talked to the lady on the phone, so I decided to check it out." They stood by everything they said and did. They promised the car would be ready by Tuesday evening and when they ran into some problems and couldn't finish it on time, they offered to rent us a car. We didn't need to rent a car but the gesture proves that true Customer Service is still alive. I wish I could give them 10 stars. It was a great experience.

I would never go back to this place or refer any friends. Actually I'm going a step further and warning them all to stay away thru social media They do not keep in good touch with what's going on. Had our car for almost 6 weeks. $2,000 transmission, which wasn't even why we took it in. Never fixed the original problem. Supposedly put new parts in, but once we had it towed to Ford dealership they say the parts were used and not even compatible. Transmission already leaking. What a huge mess and out of our car for 6 weeks. NEVER going back to them and neither are any of our friends. Social Media is a much better format than the Better Business Bureau.

Debra I don,t know who you are. I do know which vehicle you are referring to. It belongs to Mary. The accusations you have made here are simply not true. We Repair 20-50 cars per week and have been doing this for many years. If we ran a business the way you portrait us, this page would be full of complaints and we would not have An (A) rating as an accredited business with the BBB. You didn't mention the 6 weeks was over a several month period. I'm sorry the car would not duplicate it's dying and no start problem when it was at our shop. We can't make it mess up. The parts you are claiming are used, are a Flywheel, that was purchased at Five Star Ford. The so called incompatible Starter, (by this we mean was not purchased from a Ford Dealer) was purchased at O'Reillys auto parts. Both of which you were never charged for. And we never charged you for the hours and hours we spent trying to make it duplicate the dying and no start issues. We did find in checking out the car, that the transmission had an 1/8th.inch of metal in the pan and was in serious need of repair.Which was authorized and paid for. If the transmission is really leaking its covered under warranty. We will be glad to take care of it. God bless you Ron .

Well I took my Chevy almost 2 months ago to these guys and they said l needed to have my transmission rebuilt. They said $2,300 and it would take 3 days it took 2 weeks that's ok but I drove it home and it messed up, there is a 2 year warranty though so no big deal.Take it back almost 3 weeks later got it back drove it twice and its still doing the exact same thing as the day I brought it in. Oh but I put out another $100 in for an over heating problem that didn't exist prior to me taking it in the first time. so we are $2,400 into it. Fully paid. So my car is going in for a third time. Hopefully they can get it this last time. They don't contact you, you have to constantly call them. I just feel like I paid wayyy to much to not have a great running car.
