Upscale lakeside resort with chic rooms, some with balconies, plus a golf course, a spa & dining.- Google
"Resort seems overpriced for the quality of service and room amenities."

After pulling up to the valet area because there was no other clear location to check in, the valet directed us straight inside from the door; there was no counter, so we turned and walked to the first set of counters with a staff member. They told us that they were the concierge and directed us FURTHER down the hallway to the check in. We were checking in when we were told valet, who was leaving every car in the drive sit unattended with its doors open in the drive which was easily accessible to the public, would be $25 or $18 to park in the garage... We chose the garage. Once in the garage, and if you don't valet, you have to park on levels 3 - 6. The problem with this is you have to take the elevators to the lobby and then find another bank of elevators to go BACK UP to your room floor. After this entire exercise in expert building planning and compitent staff encounters, we were met with a room that was tastefully appointed for the year 1993. Really, current Holiday Inn rooms are nicer than them. The bathrooms did not have a hair dryer, perhaps the most cramped shower ever with a glass door that scraped along the tacky tile with every open and close, and the lone chair in the room looked as if it was rescued from a life of cradling the likes of an individual who spent entirely too much time in it while watching football and eating Cheetos. One out of five stars would absolutely not recommend, nor would we return. Additionally, Coeur d'Alene, tell your "golf staff" to get off their cell phones while aimlessly walking the room hallways. Have no idea what the golf staff would be doing there in the first place.

Great hotel. Although, for a 5 star resort, I would expect more amenities, not just free coffee. Nearly everything in the room is for sale (candy, nuts, water, etc.). One must be careful not to incur additional fees thinking that you are indulging in a free service. Note: ask before you take.

Rooms, employees, and general atmosphere are all great. Room service prices are a bit steep, but that is expected. The only major bummer is that several of their fish in the lobby seem to be quite sick.

The remodle is nice, but still very cramped and confused layout. Staff can be very hit or miss.

Place is amazing. Extremely large and right on the water front. Plenty of restaurants right inside the resort or close to downtown Coure d'Alene.

Conference room chairs desperately need re-upholstering. It says something when our conference organizers send out emails advising you to bring pillows due to our long sessions. All other services and staff were great.

Beverly's puts on a decent Thanksgiving, plenty of options, great service & ambiance, although I would say it's a bit overpriced for what it really is but maybe it's because of the location.
