I was just clearing out my email today, and saw an invite from a big game Company to check out the beta of a game they are working on. I remember back in the day getting invited to a beta was something to be impressed about. These days though everyone and their uncle get's beta invites.

Worse with this specific game they gave a trailer for it so I could get "hooked" on the idea of this game being awesome. But the trailer they had was all live action acting with some special affects added. Seriously it showed nothing from the actual game.

Not one to just delete the email though, I did a quick search online to see if I could find ANY game play footage of the game, and I DID. I was amazed... not at the game footage though. What I was amazed about is that I found anything at all. As for the game footage it was clips from in game cinematic that told you nothing about the actual game, lease of all anything about actual game play.

Anyone actually reading this (is anyone actually reading this) might have noticed I didn't say the name of the company or the game in question. Well that's because it's not really important. All game companies use similar tactics these days. Sending out beta invites to people to play a game they've revealed nothing about.

For those that have reached this point though, if you must know the company was EA and the game is there upcoming Shadow Realms.

As I first started watching this, I was thinking "Most of this (like the push ups, or hanging from the bottom of an I-beam) doesn't look like it would be that hard to do just a little bit off the ground, so the hardest thing I think would be over coming how the distance from the ground would mess with your mind." but then I noticed the wind. Then they started doing extra crazy things. GAH ok I can see learning to do the moves, but doing them in that high wind? I don't think I would be able to even get out of that little cage they show some of the people chilling in while the others do fancy tricks.

So over the next few days, I would like to take a look at many of the Justice League members. I'm curious how "good" of an organization this really is. No we aren't going to talk about times where the comic writers have tried to be darker and edgier. I'm talking about things these "Super" heroes do everyday and don't even bat an eye at.

Let's take a look at our biggest first. Superman. Fighting for "Truth, Justice, and the American way" but is he really? When he's not being Superman, he's spending time as Clark Kent, ace reporter. He would tell you that the reason for this, is so that he can always hear about the news as it's happening. That way as Superman he can rush to the scene and save the day.

However Superman has Super Hearing, and so can hear of many huge problems already AS THEY ARE HAPPENING. He's sure to hear of all natural disasters at the very least. However, I will admit that he needs a good filter, and that the news paper at first glance seems like a good way of doing that.

There is still a problem though, and that he writes about Superman and the criminals that Superman puts away. This is clearly a conflict of interest. Let's just think about this a moment. Superman is always written about in a good light, and to my knowledge his mistakes are never in the Daily Planet. I would be amazed if Clark ever writes anything bad about any of the JLA members. On the flip side, Superman and Lex Luthor have never gotten along, and Clark Kent takes every chance he can to write about "evil" things that Lex Luthor does.

Let us consider for a moment, that before Superman was around Lex Luthor was seen as a pretty good guy, giving to charities and other things. Then Superman comes along and paints him as the bad guy, both as Superman and as Clark Kent. Now the nature of Lex Luthor being evil or not is not what is at question here. Even if we agree that Lex Luthor is bad, this does not make Superman good simply because he is against Lex Luthor. It just means that he's against Lex Luthor.

So for now, let's end this post with one solid thing that we know about Superman that I at least find to be shady. He shapes the media in a very direct way to paint him and the rest of the JLA as the good guys.

So I've decided to start a new game of Fable 3. Created a Prince, and going to go take over the world. Figure I'll share with everyone the important choices I make along the way.

Ok enough of these nonsense choices, time for our first real choice. Logan thinks he sets up a hard to answer question for me, and has me pick to execute either a group of people that openly rebelled against him or Elise who he claims is a spy but provides no proof as to her guilt. Elise says it should be her, but frankly I don't find this to be hard choice. 1) The rebels were foolish enough to get caught. 2) There is no proof against Elise. So I choose to have the rebels executed. Added bonus, Elise is obviously more well to do than the rebels, and so might actually put her money to use now that she's seen what happens to Logan's enemies.

Is it bad that I'm in a building and think, "This place is like a maze. I want to recreate it in Minecraft"

With the new Portal 2 added features I remind everyone to keep calm in coop. Its so annoying dealing with someone that knows no more than you, wants to run the show, and is impatient about you actually considering the puzzle logically.

If neither of us know how to solve the puzzle then just let me get a good look at things before you start telling me what to do. I at least want to see what game mechanics we are dealing with.

Sure if we are in challenge mode trying get a good score, then is not the time to stop and smell the roses. But in regular game play, letting both players think sure does help.

So last time I brought up that Clark Kent presents a biased opinion of the JLA and it's activities, because he is secretly a member. Today I would like to talk about two more super heroes, and they are Batman and Green Arrow, or as they are also known as Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen.

Both run their own companies that if memory serves me correctly have weapons contracts with the government. Now don't get me wrong here, there is nothing wrong with running a company that does this. However, it is interesting to note that their chief competitor is Lex Luthor's company.

So let's get this straight here, we have two millionaires that divert company funds (embezzle) towards their personal secret "super hero" project. Then publicly and secretly they provide support to the JLA. As for providing public support, I find no fault in that as many organisations choose charitable foundations to support. What I find fault in is the fact that they aren't just supporters, but also secret members that provide further secret support.

They then go on to get in the way of Lex Luthor's plans and often cost his company lucrative defense contracts. They do this under the guise of being super heroes, and neglect to inform the public that they are also being considered for those same defense contracts. Perhaps Lex Luthor is using unethical methods with his projects, but then why is Wayne Tech and Queen Industries using super heroes to go after Luthor Corp, instead of doing so publicly.

The answer of course is simple. It's because if Wayne Tech and Queen Industries tried to go against the unethical practices of Luthor Corp publicly it would be seen as only competition between rival companies. Just like when Pepsi and Coke specifically call out the other name brand instead of just saying that they have a tasty drink. It always comes off as petty when one specifically says it's better than the other.

So what do they do? Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen meet in secret (on the moon) to discuss how they will thwart Lex Luthor, using the guises of Batman and Green Arrow. Throw in that they have Clark Kent bad mouthing Lex Luthor in the paper, and Superman doing everything he can to make Lex Luthor look like the bad guy, you have some seriously questionable activity.

Next time I get a chance, I think we should talk about Wonder Woman and Hawkman.

Was going to do a let's play of Dungeons, but it's just not that fun of a game. Recorded some Overlord instead. I hate the processing portion of doing let's plays.
