Came for brunch on a Sunday. Didn't take too long to get seated. I ordered the salmon omelette, which was decent, but nothing amazing. Service was solid. Not a bad place, it's just that there are plenty other great brunch places in Chicago that I enjoy more.

This breakfast/brunch spot is consistently amazing. Have frequented both locations and have never been disappointed. The French Toast is worth the wait if you experience a slight delay, because the service, kitchen, and staff are always busy. Buen appetite and enjoy.

The food was good but the experience was barely ok. My friend and I arrived around noon on Sunday. They had one table open and several seats at the counter. The hostess was trying her best to direct people to sit at the counter instead of the only open table. When it was our turn she said the open table was reserved even though there was a sign on the door that they only seat complete parties and they don't take reservations. After a few minutes of thinking about it she decided we could have the table instead of waiting 45 minutes for the next available. It's been 10+ years since I was last here and don't know that I would go again. Food is good but no better than your local diner on the corner. Definitely not worth a 45 minute or longer wait.

The weekend wait is always long but if you can amuse yourself at the nearby boutiques, Toast is worth the wait. The dining space is small and conjures up feelings of dining in someone's light-filled house. My favorite dish is the stuffed french toast filled with berries and marscapone cheese (not for those watching their weight).

Ask for the potatoes crispy! The waiter will tell you it will take an extra 20 minutes and "make sure you are ok with that," before bringing you the regular soggy potatoes. Otherwise very good

It's a decent brunch spot. I love brunch, so I came here for my birthday. I got the stuffed french toast with chocolate in it. I expected the chocolate to be thicker but instead it came out runny. This meant my french toast was soaked and soggy, which wasn't very appetizing. My boyfriend had a better experience with his french toast stuffed with mascarpone; I'll admit I liked his better. The service was prompt and our waiter was friendly.

Mmmm. I had an amazing breakfast burrito there. While there was a wait for a table (we were a party of 6), we got to sip coffee at the counter while we waited and were quickly served when we sat down. I'm excited that it is summer again so I can go back and enjoy their patio!

One of the best breakfasts you can get in Chicago. The atmosphere is also fantastic here. I still have not gone to the back patio yet, but looking forward to it.
