The best quote by far. Very professional and prompt. Removed a 70 foot tree and pruned another. Very clean and efficient. This is the second time I have used them and will use them again.

Dan is amazing and I can't say enough things about the incredible service I received. They quoted quickly, came in lower than 4 other quotes I got, and did an impeccable job removing three eucalyptus trees! Dan was knowledgeable on how the trees should be cut and pruned properly. Their workers worked non-stop for two days to get an intense job done, leaving at 8pm each night and cleaning up everything after themselves. It was really incredible service and they earned every penny. Make sure to use them and they are insured as well (most other places are not and won't tell you that!).

American Tree Masters removed a HUGE tree from my back yard and ground the stump down below the ground surface so you can no longer tell the tree was ever there! They gave me the best price, worked quickly, and cleaned up the yard beautifully. The workers were on time and were friendly and courteous. I see a complaint on here by a woman named Cadwell who says this company damaged her yard. She says that Dan Riggs agreed to make the insurance claim AND pay the deductible over time and she REFUSED his offer and now complains because he no longer calls her! Does that make any sense?

My neighbor hired American Tree Masters, and the owner, Dan Riggs, to remove a 25-30’ tall saguaro cactus from his yard. My neighbor researched the company before hire, and saw his website showing he has insurance and an A rating with the Better Business Bureau, and used this information in his decision to hire American Tree Masters and Dan Riggs the owner of the company. The crew of American Tree Masters arrived without Dan Riggs to remove the cactus and hooked a crane strap to the top of the cactus and basically cut the cactus in half to remove it. Long story short, the whole top of the cactus (about 10-12ft) and the large arms on the cactus ended up in my back yard. It caused damage to my built in BBQ and tiled top, patio heaters, patio furniture, garden arch, several artificial plants, and stained my entire patio deck black from the juice of the cactus. I have literally thousands of dollars in damage to my patio space. He advertises on everything, including his contracts, he is fully insured. After I repeatedly called and finally got him on the phone the following day, he stated he has a $5000.00 deductible on his insurance, and offered to make small payments of “a couple of hundred dollars a month” to pay for the damages. I refused to accept that offer due to his demeanor, the amount of damage, and the lack of confidence I had in him to actually make these payments. I requested his insurance information so I could file a claim with them, and to date, he has refused to provide any insurance information to me, my neighbor or my neighbor’s home owners insurance company. His company is not licensed with the ROC, not bonded, did not acquire a permit to remove the cactus, which is required in AZ, and I suspect he may not be insured based on his failure to provide any information on his insurance. I would NOT recommend using this company.

Overpriced. But prompt. Cut down the trees as per the work order, but snapped one of my plants in half, in the process. Almost left without finishing the work order, which was to find and cut a root mass under the fence wall which was causing cracking in the wall. They dug a 4 foot ditch to locate the root, and then cut the root, and left. I paid them after they were finished. They did not fill the ditch back in, but I suppose that's my fault for not telling the crew what they were getting paid to do. Did they cut down my trees without killing themselves or anyone around them? Yes. (I think) Did they do it promptly? Yea, they were on time and were done very quickly. Did they completely finish what was on the work order? Nope, and to be honest I don't think I should have to ask. You're professionals, charging a premium for your service, you should know exactly what to do, and do it.

American Tree Masters came out to my house to take down a tree. The first experience was rough, Dan was running late, and I wasn't sure but once he got here and we talked and he showed me everything he could do I was very impressed. His crew showed up with in 30 minutes of start of the window. They took the branches off as expected to protect the houses, then took the tree down. In about 2 hours the tree was gone and stump was ground up. They cleaned up everything and with exception to the grass not being where the tree was the lawn looked better before they started! I guess you can't expect them to grow grass instantly =) I would recommend them 100% and will call them for any needs in the future! Thank you guys!

I have two large trees in my backyard that I am hoping to get removed in the near future. I was doing some research online, and calling different businesses, hoping to get a few estimates on the job and do general comparisons. I had talked to a couple places already, and they quickly came out and gave me the estimate without any hassle. When American Tree Masters called me, however, the gentleman was quite brief. I had simply asked for an estimate, by no means had I mentioned I needed the cheapest price out there, and he proceeded to tell me their company would not be my best option, due to the fact that they are the best in Arizona and they have the best ratings from the bbb, therefore I could not afford them. I was a little stunned and thought it was quite unprofessional. I said thank you for your time and hung up. If you don't want my business, I'll be happy to go somewhere else, but don't insult me.

Dan came out to the Horny Toad Restaurant to remove two fallen down Saguaros. His company did a great job for a great price. They never stopped working the entire day. This was very important to me so I could get my outside dining patio back open. I recomend them highly for any job that has to be done quickly and for a fair price. Thanks Dan.
