go see Ben, Matt and Ismael. best service in all my experience. The food was amazing. I had a deep dish pizza (created my own) & the butter salad, was more than enough food.

Amazing pizza and amazing service! I'm from the Bay Area and frequented the home store in Palo Alto and when I noticed that Patxi's had opened up a store in Denver I was thrilled! I know that California may not be synonymous with deep dish Chicago style pizza, but trust me, this is the real deal! The management is very serious about top notch service too. As our pizza was delivered to us they told us that a topping we had requested had been left out. "No problem," we said, "we're already to dig into our delicious pizza." But the manager without hesitation had already fired up the correct pizza for us and boxed up the second pizza, ready to take it home. Every restaurant makes mistakes, but not every one fixes it like that! Also, they have an amazing bar and great atmosphere. One caveat: That deep dish Chicago style pizza takes 30-45 minutes to bake perfectly, so this is not a place to go if you are in a time crunch or on the border of starving and hangry. Give yourself some time. Bottom line: If you are a pizza connoisseur and haven't tried Patxi's yet, you need to get there fast!

Super cheesy, extra tasty pizza! I've never had deep dish pizza like this before. Been there twice and can't wait to go back. The service is great too.

Patxi's is the only real 'Chicago-style' pizza place I've found in Denver. All the other places I've tried that supposedly serve Chicago-style pizza really serve just a deep dish or pan pizza. The pizza was really good, and the atmosphere is nice. This location seemed a little small, so I can imagine the wait can be significant on the weekends.

I am from Chicago. This is the only legit Chicago style pizza I have found in Denver/Boulder. If you're from Chicago or want the real experience, avoid "Old Chicago" for sure, which has nothing to do w Chicago style pizza and also avoid Uno's; the franchise born in Chicago did a great disservice by licensing their name and misleading people to believe anything served outside their Chicago operations is actually Chicago style deep dish pizza (some of the best in the world is served at Wabash/Ohio in Chicago, a block from Pizzeria Due which also offers the best in class of the real deal). Patxi brings it. Based on one experience, I can say the pizza is excellent and exactly what I have missed for the years I have lived in CO. The crust is not as good as Carmen's, or Uno's/Due's IN CHICAGO, but ranks a solid 8/10 even if it were in Chicago and competing against the real McCoy. That said, if you are looking for REAL CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA, Patxi's is the only place I know of in Denver where you'll find it. Be ready for a wait. This is not a garbage pizza that can be cranked out a la Domino's in 10-15 minutes -- it will take 45-60, but it is WORTH THE WAIT. Chicago veterans will know; newbies take heed ;) Also: BONUS! Their mobile site interface for ordering pizza is hands-down the best I've ever used for any mobile food ordering -- great nested options to get you exactly what you want, intuitive, and everything showed us as promised.

We stopped in, casually, to grab a bite this afternoon and we chose to make our own gluten-free pizza. Their crust rocks! Most GF crust tasted like cardboard, yet Patxi's had a nice texture and flavor! Other than a premium price, this place is a great pizza shop. I recommend!
