I love just going in here and browsing to see what's on sale. Sale items are usually a pretty good deal, and everything you get here will be good quality. The Whole Foods brand items are also a great deal, with prices that are comparable or cheaper than Safeway. Fantastic butchery, too!

Perfect place to grab a quick dinner on the way home. The seating space is ample and there is free wifi. Well positioned on Market st, you won't have trouble finding this one.

I love this Whole Foods. I could spend all day there. There are just so many interesting people to see. My favorite thing about this Whole Foods is the amazing variety of juice. They have three different juice zones that will suddenly catch you off guard and make you feel the need to purchase a juice. They have juice as you come in to your left, then kombucha on the go a little bit further and then you notice in the produce section they have a full Whole Foods fresh juice zone (pre bottled). As you make your way around to the other side of the store, just a couple steps after the cookies by the pound, you arrive at the final juice stop which seems to be a mix of your run of the mill corporate juices. I really can't get enough.

The new Castro Whole Foods is a great addition to the neighborhood. It has a manned parking lot, a coffee bar at the front, and the requisite pizza and burrito bars. The cheese and charcuterie sections are very impressive. They do sampling of local brands and, in keeping with Whole Foods excellent customer service, the staff is friendly and available.

This is one of my favorite Whole Foods in SF because they have a dedicated but small parking garage, and are new and have a well laid out store. In addition they often have an affiliate pouring complimentary wine and cheese pairings, a full salad bar which includes paleo options, and a nice spread of cheese which you can sample. Overall, great whole foods filled with super friendly employees. Love it!

Needed a large custom cake with very little notice and came here thinking it was a long shot, seeing as the signs everywhere say that they require 48 hours notice for custom cakes. Instead of just telling me "sorry, we require 48 hours notice" and sending me on my way, Angel and Greg at the bakery counter walked me through figuring out what kind of cake I wanted and then proceeded to *make the cake right then and there* while I waited. Not once did they act like I was inconveniencing them or make me feel guilty for requesting the cake with literally no notice. To be honest, I wasn't expecting this kind of customer service and was so pleasantly surprised.

My new neighborhood favorite. Super clean store, friendly staff, underground parking with friendly attendant named "Mathew" who was great. The only complaint is that I wish they had a larger meat, fish, poultry section like the store in Potrero. But for the size of the store it's appropriate. Love this store!

I stopped in here to grab a lunch time salad. It was a very beautiful store with a nice feel. Even the area outside looks like a great place to hang out and have lunch or enjoy the sun. The service was friendly and nice and things seemed to be laid out well. It was also not very busy which was very nice. For a Whole Foods this seemed like one of the nicer stores.
