As I’ve mentioned in the previous post, my hair loves when I’m changing the products I use quite often and the more natural products with moisturising oils, as well as paraben, sulfate and silicone free the better the final effect.

The shampoos I’ve been recently using are the following: Benecos Natural Hair Shampoo Melissa & Nettle, Happy Naturals Macadamia Oil Moisturising Shampoo, Lush Curly Wurly Coconut Shampoo. When it comes to conditioners, apart from the Mixed Chicks Leave-in Conditioner I’ve mentioned about in the previous post, I ‘ve been using Lush Veganese Hair Conditioner.

I am and always have been the eyelash/mascara girl all the way through… I love long, thick eyelashes because they make your eyes to pop. To achieve this effect we need a really good serum to make our eyelashes stronger and longer as well as good mascara, which adds the volume and length without any clumps.

Gotta love Murad products… This is another one of my favourite brands. What is so special about Murad brand is what they believe in, that the wellbeing of our skin depends on how we feel inside and outside. This belief is very close to my opinion, that the body, mind and soul needs to be balanced because to look great we have to feel great about ourselves, we have to eat well, love and enjoy our life.

The other fantastic vitamin for the skin is Vitamin A, which is a group of compounds that includes Retinol, Retinal and Retinoic Acid - important for cell production and growth. Vitamin A helps to keep skin firm and healthy by stimulating and thickening the deep layer of the skin called dermis where collagen, elastin and blood vessels are. It helps to reduce wrinkles by slowing down breakdown of our collagen and elastin. As well it gently exfoliates the skin, smoothing it out; increases blood flow to the skin, which means more oxygen is going to our cells to help with cell renewal; and one of the most important benefits for me is that Vitamin A decreases production of sebum and helps to treat acne.

On the market there are so many skincare products that I’ve decided to have a look at the ones, which aim especially at the vitamins the skin loves and needs.

We are what we eat!
Food has always been a very important part of my life. It gives me strength, healthy body, skin & hair. It gives me pleasure.
I have to mention, that I’ve never before had problems with my skin, even as a teenager. Then suddenly after moving countries, pushing myself with studies, work and not much rest, my skin had started turning its back on me.
I had to closely look at my lifestyle & diet because I’ve realised that to make my skin better I had to make some changes in my life, I had to slow down and breath.

When it comes to curly hair, all of us who’s got them knows the ‘pain’ of trying to get them right every time we are about to face the world…
I’m not going to talk much about how to care for curly hair, because in the end of the day we all have our own techniques and tricks to get them right, always hoping for the best.
