What is Peripheral Arterial Disease?

To simply put it PAD is lack of blood flow to your feet
Improve your circulation and prevent amputation!

Peripheral Arterial Disease is when plaque builds up on the inside walls of the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the legs and feet.
The arteries harden and narrow which causes the blood flow to the legs and feet significantly reduced.

This may also involve hardened and narrowed arteries to the heart and brain, causing an increased risk of heart attack or stroke

Why I Became a Podiatrist?

Dr. Tepper decided to become a podiatrist after suffering from his own foot problems. He was experiencing pain in the arches of his feet when he started running long distance in high school. He continued to run in college where his foot problem became worse and he was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. This influenced his decision to become a podiatrist.
