As Google I/O quickly approaches we are hard at work getting everything ready for a great I/O Extended.

A few days before I/O for the past few years a huge gathering of GDG Organizers from all over the world takes places in Mountain View. Every year there is an awesome shirt design that wins. This year GDG Chicago is proud to be able to put up a shirt design.

If we win I'll have some of these shirts to give away to the people of GDG Chicago. So +1 this if you like free shirts! +1 this if you like the awesome design +Virginia Poltrack created! or just simple +1 this post!

The more +1's we get on this post the better off we are so please reshare and ask others to +1 this post as well.

I've been playing a lot of the original Halo, which came out in 2001. The new version is running 60 fps and was remastered for the bigger 1080p screens. Halo has the best music score in any game! If you have an Xbox One, you need to get the Master Chief Collection. A++
We're still testing the real-world multiplayer servers, but we've played ALL of Halo: MCC. Here's what we think so far.

It's Opening Day! :)

It's been awhile since I've been excited for the Amazin' Mets. smile emoticon Normally we don't use Spring Training as an indicator of how well a team will do in the regular 162 game season, but you have to be happy with what they did. The Mets led the National league in wins, and in many offensive stats. That doesn't include the really good starting pitching lineup which I haven't seen since in a long time. The only weakness in my opinion would be the middle relief pitching. Let's Go Mets!

Play Ball!

Dillon Gee’s selection as the fifth starter was among the moves completed with the postseason firmly in mind.

These guys think we're stupid?

If they pull their music from other places like Google Music, iTunes, Spotify, etc and expect people to pay double the price, then piracy will be up again. They're soo out of touch.

I hope it's an early April Fool's joke. ;)
Only a few minutes ago, the entire music industry stood on a stage in a collective display of how rich and out of touch they are. They think you are willing to pay up to double the price of other streaming music services to pay for their streaming music service, because they are crazy.

Everyone should have a Banana Bunker!

Your banana will never be the same.  Your friends will envy you when you whip this out of your bag!

Banana Bunkers Ripe bananas can rest easy as they nestle within these protective Banana Bunkers. A hard plastic design protects the soft fruit from getting bruised or crushed in backpacks or purses, and a collapsible midsection expands and contracts to accommodate larger or smaller specimens . The BPA-free case is also dishwasher safe to prevent new bananas from tasting like old bananas. Each set includes one clear, one orange, and one yellow ca...

I  know that LG said that The LG G Watch R will not get Wifi Support, then why is is it FCC Certified with having  "Smart Watch with 2.4 DTS b/g/n + BT and BLE"?

Shouldn't this be written and official proof that the LG GWaR has Wifi capabilities?

Since yesterday's publishing, I received confirmation from ASUS and clarification from LG. The ZenWatch, and both the G Watch and G Watch R are missing WiFi.

The upcoming Urbane has WiFi. The Moto 360 has WiFi. The SmarWatch 3 has WiFi. The Gear Live is still unknown, awaiting official confirmation, though a teardown showed a WiFi antenna.
Yesterday, Google announced that Android Wear smartwatches would be getting WiFi support in the next coming weeks. The question remains, does every Android Wear smartwatch support WiFi? Sadly, no.

Google's Wireless Service - Project Fi / Nova details leaked

Thanks to a leaked Nexus 6 build from nearly two weeks ago, we've learned all sorts of goodies about Google's upcoming wireless service - dubbed Project Fi, Nova, or Tycho. (These are all internal codenames used to describe various parts of the service, application, or backed.)

So what do we know, or think we know thus far?

Project Fi includes an application or managing your wireless service. You'll be able to pay bills, check usage, activate service, request a new phone number, pause or restart service - basically an extremely powerful tool for setting up and managing your wireless service from the Googs.

Project Fi isn't unlimited data, but will allow you to pay for only what you use and you'll even get refunded if you don't use what you initially paid for. If you go over your data, it seems you'll pay the same price per GB you did at the beginning of the month instead of some insanely high price like other carriers now. There are plans with talk and text and they go up from there, depending on how much data you add.

Sprint and T-Mobile were referenced in the app, as previously rumored. There networks will be used. So, if you don't live in an area with T-Mobile or Sprint service, you're out of luck. If you do though, you'll be able to have multiple lines per account and shared data buckets. You'll even be able to quickly switch service to a new phone through the phone application.

As for supported phones, it looks like the Nexus 6 will be the only phone supported, at least for now. However all is not lost, you'll be able finance your Nexus 6 directly through Google's carrier, without any crazy fees or interest.

Most carriers track everything you do. Google is going the extra mile here it seems and will allow you to opt of of said tracking, if you'd like.

There's mention of Google Voice too. Project Fi allows you to easily port your number over to the new system and make your Google Voice number your Project Fi number. I don't think that this is required though.

And that's about it. So, how's Google's upcoming MVNO sounding to you?
According to newly-leaked details, Google's wireless network -- referred to as Nova in many previous rumors, but also now known as Project Fi -- could charge you only for the exact amount of data you use. Find out what else Google might have planned for their wireless service.

GO GO Curry has the best Japanese Curry Dish anywhere in the NYC area. I go here a couple of times a month and never get sick of it. They don't have sushi or any other Japanese food but only their very delicious curry. Try the Chicken or pork curry with rice and you'll understand. They are the best!
