Congratulations to MinnowBoard.org for the new fish in the Minnow family!

The MinnowBoard.org project is thrilled to announce the newest member of our family - MinnowBoard MAX! We're unveiling this board at the EE Live! conference this week in San Jose, CA.

MinnowBoard MAX is another open hardware embedded board we've developed to serve the needs of both the professional developer and hacker/maker community. Based on Intel's new Atom Bay Trail SoC platform, it offers a new generation of performance and features, but remains petite in size and cost.

Our entry-level SKU will be $99 MSRP, with additional board configuration options to be made available. All models will include 64-bit processors, USB 3.0, and Intel HD graphics with open source accelerated drivers for Linux, to just name a few of the new features! Learn more on our website:

Domaine Drouhin's "Louise" party, down in the barrel room of the winery. Louise is Drouhin's top end Pinot Noir and the 2011 was being released today. They also had an array of Joseph Drouhin Burgundy, Chardonnay and Domaine Drouhin Willamette Valley Pinot Noir to taste.

Our in-flight snack on Lufthansa, from Bucharest to Frankfurt. This is as close to haut cuisine as we had on the entire trip. (Note how it resembles the http://tripadvisor.com rating buttons. Intentional?)

Grgich Hills Cellar. Mike Grgich was the winemaker who created the famous 1973 Chateau Montellena Chardonnay which beat all the French competition in the Judgement of Paris in 1976. Mike is there in front (actually his picture). He is famously stingy, and this cellar is the one he had built when he founded Grgich Hills (which is a joint venture with the heirs of the Hills Brothers coffee company). I like this place because the wine is quite good, it's historic, and much less corporate / slick than the usual Napa tasting room.

Since the yotta is the inverse of the yocto, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yocto- So, does this mean the phone uses +Yocto Project ? It's really really really big? It actually has more to do with the yota than yotta ? :-)

I'll share this. I did a video with Scott at MWC covering this, XDK and Dev Zone but the audio was so bad I couldn't use it.
