This is the final board to go on the front of the place. 60cm of snow outside. Looks like it's an inner burn. Didn't even set off a fire alarm.

This is a closer view through the sliding door. That's Silica Street out there covered in snow. You can see a couple sailboats anchored out on Kootenay Lake down there.

Harrop Proctor Community Forrest Products is a small community owned lumber yard here in the Kootenays. They have developed a sustainable way of harvesting and milling local trees while protecting their water and taking control 11 hectares of their local forrest.

The Pinner has been covered in Harrop-Procter Community Forest Product's wood. It feels great to support local.
