This Sunday, May 5th is the 37th annual Lilac Bloomsday Run. This 12K race, held by the Lilac Bloomsday Association, has become a tradition in Spokane and each year the run benefits a local charity. This year the proceeds are being donated to the Martin Luther King Jr Family Outreach Center. Even if you are not running, it is a great cause to support!
This Saturday marks the 7th Annual Wine & Gourmet Gala at the Spokane Community College. This event, “An Evening in the Vineyard,” features four-course meals from the Culinary Academy students as well as professional chefs. There will be both a silent and live auction for attendees as well.
