We are excited to have The Neverclaim on our stage who are sure to bring a bang to our final year of Worship on the Water.

Venetian's "Worship on the Water" concert will once again feature a national touring group. The Neverclaim, a contemporary Christian music band originally from Portland, Oregon, will take the East Park stage on Venetian Sunday. The band recently finished a solid year of touring with Sanctus Real, The Rock & Worship Roadshow tour, performing at numerous festivals and events such as Walt Disney World's Night of Joy.

The Neverclaim have released two studio albums, The Neverclaim and The Joy and have been recognized as a live worship act which is high-impact, passionate, energetic and fun. Their recent batch of songs favor an electronic-infused indie pop rock sound.

The frontman of The Neverclaim, Jeremiah Carlson, relates that their music has been "crafted specifically to either minister healing into people's hearts through worship and celebration, or to call something greater into their lives." All are invited to share the spiritual vibes of The Neverclaim, while overlooking the beauty of Round Lake Harbor, on Venetian Sunday, July 17, 2016.

By now your Venetian schedule is almost full. One of the few days missing is Venetian Tuesday. The Charlevoix City Band, which is a century old this year, recently received the Suddler Family Award, and is excited to bring the history of Charlevoix in their headline performance, through their theme of Showtunes and Musicals. You won't want to miss it!

Yeh Mon! The Festival is pleased to announce the Venetian debut, on AquaPalooza Saturday, of the Sunshine Reggae Band, winner of the 2013 Chicago Music Award/Best Reggae Band. The Band will deliver a cool slice of the Islands to the shores of Lake Charlevoix, as they perform reggae, calypso, Latin, Hawaiian and American beach songs.

Want to join in? No problem! All are welcome to join them at the beach stage for popular Island games and dances, including limbo, the cha cha slide, the cupid shuffle and the electric slide.

Boats, beach, and band will come together as one on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2016, with the Island rhythms of The Sunshine Reggae Band at Veentian's AquaPalooza party.

One of Detroit's favorite sons once proclaimed that "rock'n roll never forgets." Dave Bennet's "Rockin' the '50s" show likewise promises to be a performance, on Venetian Saturday, which will not soon be forgotten.
Dave is super-energy/multi-instrument phenomenon who plays electric guitar, piano, drums, and vocalizes. Bennett not only plays homage to Jerry Lee Lewis through the piano and vocals, but Dave also plays tribute to "The Man in Black" (Johnny Cash) and "The King" (Elvis). A Detroit native, Bennett was "discovered" by a Venetian "scout" when Dave was performing at a recent music festival in San Diego.
Dave Bennett will transport the Venetian crowd to an era when rock'n roll was emerging as a genre, and may well bring the house on Saturday, July 23, 2016, as the ideal lead-in to the headline act of 1964...The Tribute.
Dust off those dancin' shoes and check out this video of Dave Bennett below!

What would the Venetian Festival be without a crazy high energy band to start off your Venetian Wednesday? The Acciedentals will also be making an encore performance to the Venetian stage, opening for The Guess Who.

How 'bout those millenials on the go. Three original albums, song placements in commercials, documentaries and films, and over 700 live shoes. THEN, they graduated high school!
The Accidentals have amassed quite a track record at an early age. After graduation from the world renowned Interlochen Arts Academy, Katie Larson and Savannah Buist added multi-instrumentalist-singer-songwriter-drummer Michael Dause, to complete the musical recipe know as The Accidentals. Their unique brand of Indie music has earned them numerous awards, including Billboard's "Breakout Band" and Traverse Magazine's "Redhot Best Band" of Northwest Michigan for the third year in a row.
In 2015 alone, The Accidentals played over 200 shows at some of the most prestigious venues in teh country, including an enthusiastic performance for the Charlevoix crowd which cheered them on during their 2015 Venetian debut. The Festival is pleased to welcome The Accidentals back to the Venetian stage, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, as a perfect lead-up to The Guess Who.

We know that your Venetian Wednesday is now booked, but how about your Venetian Friday? Last year we were entertained with a stellar performance by Nashville's own Anthony Orio. This year we will have an encore performance by Anthony, beginning right after the Venetian Queen coronation. Check out a video message from Anthony!
