Very cool what Arthur C. Clarke thought in 1964.

Awesome video of Arthur C. Clarke from 1964 on BBC. Absolutely right on remote work. Completely wrong on the death of cities.

I hope I am just missing something, but I cannot figure out how to send someone a message. What value is this if you cannot message someone? I guess I have to use Facebook or LinkedIn to message that person....that doesn't seem right.

Google+ doesn't seem to be about one-to-one messaging per se, but as I pointed out above, it is possible to have a discussion with only two people in it, which for all practical purposes is one-to-one messaging. Do note that if you want to disable the ability of that person to share your post, you need to click the arrow at the top of your newly posted post and then click "Disable reshares."
