Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Marco Pesenti Gritti. GNOME Web wouldn't be here without all of his early work on Galeon and Epiphany. We will miss him very much.
I unfortunately have some terrible news, Marco Pesenti Gritti passed away last Saturday in London, after a long fight against cancer. He was with his family and in good medical hands. He leaves behind his girlfriend Daniela and 4 year old daughter Daniela. I had the chance to say goodbye last ...

Review of Web 3.12 in +fedoraftw.
Is beautiful, integrated and clean, but is it performant enough for a day-to-day web-browsing? Yes, I'm talking about GNOME Web, web-browser that is to definitely surprise you with its recently-released 3.12 version. You might be aware of the latest days' enablement of the multi-process support ...

+Antonis Yperia in preference/language you can add languages and theoretically activate spell checking by checking "enable spell checking"... for me it works partially because it checks only English whereas I added 4 different languages (and I am not given the choice to choose which language to check).

What's new in +Epiphany  3.10? Check it out!
Go forward in time to November 2013. Sat 2013/Oct/05. I have been putting off this post for long enough now and perhaps the internet has already written about this, nonetheless, I feel my duty to share with you my excitement about the latest release of GNOME Web, which, once again, ...

I loved all the new features in Epiphany 3.10! However I'm getting some issues on some pages, which for some reason make the pages blank. Do you have any clue on what could be causing that? thanks!

What's new in Web 3.14!
It's already been a few weeks since the release of GNOME Web 3.14, so it's a bit late to blog about the changes it brings, but better late than never. Unlike 3.12, this release doesn't contain big user interface changes, so the value of the upgrade may not be as immediately clear as it was for ...

What's new in GNOME Web 3.12?
Go forward in time to April 2014. Mon 2014/Mar/24. Saying that external contributions to GTK+ are not so welcome is drawing a slightly short-sighted conclusion out of more complex dynamics, as the ones that govern GTK+ development, or any complex free software project, for that matter.

A last minute 3.12 feature just arrived in Web, the GNOME browser. One process per tab is now enabled by default!

Congratulations to the team. This is a big milestone.

Web is using DuckDuckGo now!

We've switched the default search engine in +Epiphany to DuckDuckGo:  https://people.gnome.org/~csaavedra/news-2013-08.html#D27
Go forward in time to September 2013. Tue 2013/Aug/27. Today, we have switched the default search engine in Web from Google to DuckDuckGo. This change might come up as a surprise, but there are a handful of reasons why this actually makes sense: Privacy: the GNOME project has decided, ...
