Susan, I can't thank you enough for validating my decision to self-publish my memoir. Yes, I had stepped away and more or less given up on it but with a new concept for bringing it to my readers via rewrite, I'm still pressing forward. But I can see no gain in traditional publishing for me. However, my husband insists that it's the control I envisage in self-publishing that's the draw. Not!
