fantastic. battered anchovies; crispy, crumbly pops of the sea, kale chard salad with warm egg yolk begging to be swirled around like liquid sun, grilled squid sitting on a cloud of aioli....oh man! the atmosphere is great. loved listening to two drunk girls on a first date, people watching at it's finest!

Great location on a busy neighborhood at night. Beautiful terrace and interesting decor inside. Obviously, the drinks were the stars and the barman knew his stuff for sure. I had a very interesting whiskey cocktail and it was a blast. Perfect for a date!

Went here late at night out with friends. The place was pretty empty. Wouldn't recommend for a night out. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The drinks were great and friendly service. I'll have to go back for dinner one night to give it another shot!

Pretentious GM What a shame. Great menu. Great staff. Great concept, but their GM Jeremy represents the epitome of a lousy, self-righteous promoter. I guess he missed the memo that in the restaurant industry "the customer is always right". I was pitched and sold a rib eye. I was told it would come sliced without a bone. There was a thorough discussion with Vinny who took the order. Somehow however he still managed to improperly enter the order and I was served a skirt steak. After two bites I realized it was NOT a rib eye but Vinny was nowhere to be found for the next ten minutes. Being that it's an open kitchen and I was seated immediately adjacent to the kitchen at the bar but could not find my bartender I simply turned and presented my plate to the kitchen, "excuse me, is this supposed to be your rib eye?" I know I'm the "tough love guy" but I wasn't being sarcastic or patronizing. I just hadn't eaten in a long time and really wanted it sorted out. Suddenly the GM walks up to me without even witnessing the interaction and has the audacity to say to me, (before any introduction) "You have two choices. You apologize to my kitchen or you get out." I was stunned. I didn't know if I was more shocked the kitchen was somehow offended or that this self righteous, arrogant, classless GM approached a customer like that who had a $300 bill. In the interest of quelling an already embarrassing situation I ate crow and began to apologize when this a'hole actually started to chastise me like he was a catholic school teacher reprimanding a student. I said, " Excuse me. I'm trying to make your staff feel better about what happened; a job you should be doing, not me." He said, "Get out." I said, "Are you an owner of this place?" He replies, "No I'm the GM." I said, "You didn't even bother to ask me what happened. You have absolutely no class." Then my fiancée, my mother-in-law and I walked out absolutely shocked. But I would be damned if I was paying a penny for that experience.

What a cute restaurant this is! I love the decor and ambiance. I came here for brunch this past Sunday. Our server, Oliver, was really nice. Everything tasted amazing. The only suggestion I have is about their truffle fries. Please consider offering the aioli mayo on the side. There was a huge glob on top of the fries. I think that's a bit too much and didn't look very appetizing. Their green machine smoothie was really good too! I would love to come back and try their dinner menu.

Most horrific dining experience YET! Your manager Alex was so rude to my party last night. We were excited to come try out this cute place but definitely never coming back and letting my friends know to spare themselves a horrible dinner. Found a hair in our food and later asked for the replacement to be comped when things got out of hand and Alexs demeanor became so hostile and rude, called the police saying how i was refusing to pay the bill which never happened. I felt very harassed, with Alex sticking his finger in my face asking me very loudly "who i thought i was". I never heard an apology from anybody. Disgusted by this establishment.

Normally I'd keep bad experiences to myself but I feel compelled to lament the lost opportunity of Eveleigh, which unfortunately, disappoints. Much touted mixologists deliver only half-shaken and colorful, sophomoric little concoctions in the same low wine glass. What is it these days with this little glass, showing up everywhere with every drink. It's not a martini glass by a long shot. $18 for three asparagus spears, $28 for six fatty slices of pork loin, half of which wasn't edible; is how they roll at Eveleigh. Our marble table top had broken in several pieces and was glued back together in large, uneven shards, criss-crossed with thick yellow glue. Awful looking. Wobbly. The valet attendants load and unload in the midst of heavy Sunset traffic, making for a harrowing vehicle handoff. On the upside we were sat right away by an friendly and welcoming hosting staff. In the end, however, Eveleigh is a mediocre dining experience.
