Every meal, every time, was first class. Fantastic, never let us down. My favourite place until New Year's Eve. Service was great but we were seated an hour and a half late, and one dinner had to he sent back and everything else was really dreadful. I will return, but the lesson learned is do not go out to a restaurant on major holidays. A major disappointment from a restaurant that knows better.

We went here for "classy date night" and it totally fit the bill. The food was delicious (I'm still raving a week later) in just the right portions, the location was good for going out afterwards, and our server was incredibly personable, attentive, and helpful. Definitely going back whenever I'm in Savannah!

Did not have a reservation which seemed to tick off the manager. The kids menu consisted of pasta or flatbread, and we are not carb friendly. We want our kids to have a consistant diet of healthy veggies, and Chabella dropped out on this. The staff were not friendly and we were really disappointed. Nice swings outside on the patio that the kids would have enjoyed had the people around stopped smoking long enough for the children to enjoy. This place really needs to welcome the community and work on a carb free menu for the children to enjoy. This place seemed poorly managed, like some kind of hippie hangout.

This restaurant has turned into a Consistantly Inconsistant Venu. We have been coming to Cha Bella religiously over the years. Located to both of our daughter's college, and our hotel, it was convenient. The last two trips here have been terribly disappointing. The food used to taste very clean and fresh, free from the balsalmic and heavy seasoning that has recently trended here. It used to be, there was nothing to cover up. The fresh food from the farmers, and the bright concept from an expert Chef, left nothing to cover up. I don't know what changed her, but we wish you would get back to your Roots! The wine list was lacking, and so were our mixed drinks. The bartender used to make the mixed drinks with fresh ingredients, and really put effort into his skill. We used to sit on the patio and relax before dinner. On the last two visits, we have been rushed to our table and then rushed out of the restaurant. Our waitress seemed new and a little confused on this last trip. I personally don't fault her, but maybe the management should train the staff before they are ready for table service. The simplest of questions seemed to baffle her. I wanted to speak with the manager about some of the negative changes, but was told he was busy and would stop by the table. I never saw him. I would hate to make this my last trip to Cha Bella as my family have shared some truly happy memories there over the years. Maybe the powers that be would get back to what they used to know. We went there on April 3,2015 for dinner . We are vegetarian. We asked if they had any vegetarian options and were told that they had two.Ordered a flat bread something as an appetizer and another veg dish recommended by the server who said she was a vegetarian. We did not like the dish, picked the sauteed vegetables in the over priced, well presented dish as we were hungry. Went to Leopold's Ice Creme and filled up with great Ice Creme for the night. If you are a vegetarian,this place is not for you. BTW they use Goat Cheese. It is way overpriced for what you get to eat as a vegetarian. I can not comment on the meat dishes We have no complaints about the ambience, courtesy by the hostess or the server or for that matter all the employees.

Arrived at 1130 on the dot for brunch. We are still waiting for our food at 1225 and there are no more than 4 small tables inside. Waitress finally arrived after 50 mins to say she just learned they are catering for a large group. After ONE HOUR we left. The table of 6 were right behind us. Can't even recommend people on their food because it NEVER CAME OUT.

This place gets 4 1/2 stars for delicious food and accommodating service. We went there with a 1 1/2 year old and was originally placed inside. We asked if we could sit outside to be less of a distraction, they worked it out that our original waitress could serve us there, which was out of the way for her, but there was not a hint of frustration on their part. The pork and New York strip and their sides were outstanding. The decor is classy without being stuffy. We really enjoyed our time there. I gave it 4 1/2 stars because the special strawberry mojito was watery and didn't have the punch that a good mojito has. Otherwise, go and enjoy great food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

I had heard so much about this restaurant from a golfing buddy on my last visit and wanted to include it on this short trip back. We met the couple, and walked from the parking lot behind the restaurant. As we passed by the back door, there appeared to be a meeting of the staff by the dumpster cooks and waitresses alike. Cigarettes in hand and not a care in the world, as we passed by. I could only hope they washed up! The other couple we were with seemed embarrassed, however we had a reservation. This was an early seating, as we had a show to attend, and wanted to eat quickly. Our server finally showed up from her 'meeting", and went into what can only be considered a dissertation about were the food was procured. We ordered a cheese plate for the 4 of us, the cheese seemed old around the corners, and this in not the casing I am speaking of. The salads were alright, but lacked any sort of imagination, as the ladies were not impressed. Our dinners were served, finally! I can tell you there was no innovation in these as well. Chicken with bacon wrapped around it, and the worst tasting risotto. My overcooked, and overpriced steak was terrible. The rubbery shrimp with yet another horrible squash risotto. The fettucini, which was the blandest of them all was supposed to be the vegetarian dish for my wife. It turned into a contest of who had the worst entree, and I won! Needless to say, we skipped yet another presentation as to how the dessert is made "in house", and got the check. I felt bad as my friend paid the bill, but he felt obligated since this place was his suggestion.
