Cardio is one of the ingredients in a weight loss and fat burning recipe. But to maximize the effects and minimize the downsides, you have to do it right.

Here’s some tips that can help you reach your goals faster.


1 Do it in the morning. After waking up and before eating, your fat burning is mazimized because of your low sugar and insulin levels.

2 Burn fat – save muscles. To make sure that your cardio session will burn fat and to block muscle breakdown, a great tip is to use 5-10g of BCAA, 1-3g of carnitine and 200-400 mg of caffeine. Take it 30 minutes prior to your cardio. This will save muscle tissue and boost your hormones that will break down your bodyfat.

3 If you don’t have BCAAs, you can have 10-20g of fast digesting protein before your cardio. Just avoid any type of carbs.

4 Don’t do it before weight training. If you do, you will decrease your energy levels for the weight training. You will also decrease your growth hormones by do the cardio before the iron. And it’s the iron workout that will give you a sustainable and permanent raise in the metabolism, because of the muscle you put on. Raising your metabolism will help you burn fat.

5 Do cardio after your weight workout and burn almost twice much as fast as compared to do your cardio session in a separate workout.

6 HIIT is the most effective cardio. More weight loss and fat burning for the time spent – 20-30 minutes. Warm up, then alter quick paces with slow paces. 30 seconds slow, 60 seconds fast, for example.
