Sounds to me like we're in Shopenhauer's 2nd stage of Truth: “All truth passes through 3 stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”
Matt Cutts, head of the Google’s web spam fighting team, has gone on record by saying Google does not consider SEO to be spam. Matt said outright, “We don’t consider SEO to be spam,” and added that SE...

Facebook's Tour of how to share posts more selectively simply emphasizes how weakly they've integrated Groups and Sharing functionality, especially compared to the elegant implementation on Google+.

Security on mobile is a nascent topic in the minds of most consumers, but it will inevitably become a more mainstream thought, as threats like this continue to emerge.

Found it ironic that Wired Magazine's article about Google+ lacked a "+1" sharing button at the bottom of its online article (see arrow). http://www.wired.com/magazine/2011/09/ff_google_horowitz/all/1

Introduction
Computer science geek in college (UCSC), but also got sucked into more "human" centered things like linguistics, psychology and teaching.  Got a CS bachelor's and worked in the technical field for about 5 years before deciding to study Cognitive Science at Stanford, where I got my PhD.  From there, started my "second career" in the User Experience (UX) field at Liberate, Yahoo!, eBay, Move/REALTOR.com, and now McAfee.

Fast, efficient and competent (Tegan in particular). I'd say the main improvement is to the corporate website, which doesn't allow you to pick a date earlier than the day you're on, even when the local shop can handle it. The site should at least make it easy to contact them to find out - I had to do a search separately to get their number and email address.

Generally speaking, this is one of the best hospitals I have been in, as a patient, visitor and medical advocate. There may be some quirks here and there (e.g., following Medicare rules algorithmically rather than looking closely at the patient details), but they are understandable, and the personnel are open to hearing you and taking the feedback to heart. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
