great food and a fantastic lounge and listening room atmosphere. the music was great when we went and the food was very good, wholesome, and reasonably priced. the wait staff was extremely friendly. I will return to this location many times.

Pretentious - pretty much says it all. Food was over-priced for the quality. I payed 90 bucks for two dinners and four drinks. Add to that, you couldn't talk, even if you wanted to. The music was so loud shouting was the only way someone sitting next to you could hear you, which generally drew condemning glances from staff and patrons. Then to top it all off - I paid the 90 dollar tab, left a generous tip, then looked on my bank site and they had added 16 dollars to my bill - over and above what I signed on the credit card slip I was handed. Then when I called in, I could not reach a person but did have the option to go to the general manager's voice mail (out on Monday and Tuesday) so I tried the restaurant manager (she had resigned, but still had a voicemail account and was an option on their call in number). So, no way to speak to an actual person to straighten out why they added charges to my credit card AFTER I signed the slip. I won't go again and have already started telling folks not to go.

Screw all these people who complain about two drinks and a entree being to expensive and that it's to loud. Do me a favor and go to Racine's, you will find it quiet with awful food. Dazzel has great entertainment. great food, and Sunday brunch . Period. I have been a fan for years and if u could possibly find something similar. Good luck. If your a lucky strike bowling person, stay there, We as jazz fans don't bowl and don't drink the cheap shit , try punch bowl social for the nefarious red necks

On our last morning in Denver we decided to check this place out for brunch. It's a VERY popular place--good thing they take reservations! There was a live jazz band playing that particular Sunday morning and it was a nice accompaniment as we stuffed our faces with all the brunch buffet offerings! The selection was very good with something for everyone. I can't even remember everything I had but I know I liked it all--especially the bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. The price was moderate so it's not a super-fancy brunch, but I felt like it was a good value. Definitely a nice way to end our Denver excursion, even though I never did order a Denver omelette.

Jazz is the best in town, and comparable to any hot club in the U.S...Great martinis and good food!

First of all, I should say that I have been a big fan of Dazzle for the entire 10 years I've lived in Denver. I think it is usually one of the true gems of the city and I tell everyone I know about how great it is. However, on NYE night this week my family and I had a really bad experience. I called in on 12/24/13 to see if I could reserve a table for four in the lounge area for NYE night. The lady I spoke with said "sure, no problem, but it will be a $15/person fee to reserve the table." She took my name and number down and said "I've got you down for four people for New Year's Eve at 9pm." I thought we were good but when we got there, they claimed to not have any record of my name or reservation. The hostess said "sorry, we require a prepaid reservation tonight - whoever you spoke with should have told you that. Sorry for the miscommunication but we charge $25/person for walkups tonight.I will put your name on the list and if we have a no-show, you'll get that table first." The bar was fairly empty while the tables were all full, so we decided to sit at the bar and hope for a no-show. I griped a bit, as did my wife, and the hostess finally offered to allow us to stay at the bar for the original $15/person fee. Not ideal but better than nothing. So we sat at the bar all night and had a decent time, but there was an open table all night that the hostess never offered to us. Finally, at about 1115pm she said "I could get you to one of the cocktail tables close to the stage but we'll have to charge you the $25/person fee because you guys didn't have a reservation." REALLY? After all of that, and all four of us having gotten dressed up thinking we had a reservation, making our case to her, etc. etc. etc. - she couldn't have just kept our fee at $15/person and given us the table? The table remained empty all night, by the way, even after the midnight festivities. Just a really poor way to handle a situation that was understandable miscommunication between her and someone else in her staff, but simple enough for her to make a quick decision and give us the table an hour before midnight. She easily could have given us the table and made it all better, but she didn't. This place has great music (jazz, blues, etc.) and is typically a great place to go, but whoever this hostess was really gave us a sour impression of their customer service. I hope she is not an example of a new direction they are taking, because we won't continue to go there if so.
